Both of these teams are pretty equal. Last year 17-12. This year Serra has something like 16 starters back that I read and still, Folsom was right there in losing 21-14. Two heavyweights battled it out. Only downside now for Serra is if they win out the rest of the year, they know either Bosco or MD will be waiting in the final game and that will not end well for Serra
21-14 was the final. But Serra did not play well as the game went on. Folsom kept fighting tho. By the time Folsom scored two TDs late in the 4th, four defensive starters were already out of the game. #crampbowl2 🤦🏽♂️
@GetSportsFocus ya but you can also look at it like this. Serra only had one legit touchdown of the game. What I mean is opening td was a trick play and one other td came off a drive where it was 3rd and 16 Serra with an incomplete pass which would’ve been 4th and 16 but a Folsom penalty kept it alive where they scored later in that drive. There’s 14 of Serras 21. Folsom dropped a wide open td in the 1st or 2nd quarter so there’s 7 for them. My whole point to this is if Folsoms 14 came cause of cramps then Serras 14 came from penalties and trick plays. So you can have a 7-7 legit game right there. For having 16 starters back Folsom was right there in they’re face. I’m not taking anything away from Serra, damn good team. But so is Folsom. Serra, Folsom, and DLS can all be toss ups for #1 in NorCal
