Nice chain Mike, I actually own the chain u considered which is the 5.5mm Figarope in 20” and love it. It gauges slightly larger at 5.8mm and shines so hard. It’s truly one of my favorite pieces and I highly recommend it.
Love the ropes too but hate those pinched end caps, like dwarfs the end of the chain. really wish my 7mm rope had the same end caps as my 6.5mm franco (both from jacoje by the way).
Dope chain man! I just got a Jacoje 3.5mm Franco, absolutely love it, except I maybe would have gone for a 20" over the 22" I purchased, but I think both lengths look good on me. Do you have any experience getting a Jacoje piece shortened by a local jeweler? I'm kind of on the fence and don't want to ruin the chain's durability. Thanks!
I think that can be done by most competent jewelers. I wouldn’t worry about the strength. The clasp is always the weak point. I have the same chain as you in 20”. I’m 5’8” and the 20 is that classy / subtle look I’m after. I bought from Jacoje in 2017 when prices were $40per gram of 14k so I may be speaking partly from my wallet :)
Definitely favoritism when it comes to shipping from jacoji. He only ships fast to people that buy a lot of pieces. If you buy five pieces or less he will charge you $25 to ship it which is considered FedEx express shipping but it’ll still take over a week to get it and if his store is closed for any reason or he’s away on vacation he won’t put that on his website and he’ll allow you to order some thing and your item wont ship for a week and you won’t get it for a week and a half but you’re still paying $25 in fedex 2 day shipping doesn’t make any Sense 🤔
1st time buying and was only a 500$ bracelet, ordered Monday, shipped Tuesday, arrived Thursday. I don’t think I could of asked for better service from what I can only assume is now a large small business that is moving some volume.
