Our nonprofit removes around 100 Lionfish every time we go out on the boat on average! This 100 fish would end up eating 5 million reef fish in their lifetime. So every trip we end up saving 5 million reef fish from being victims of this invasive species. Not to mention they would lay millions and millions of eggs which would then produce more and more lionfish! So we try to remove as many as we can in the areas that we can get to. Every time they come back in from the deep we are there to apprehend them Before they cause more damage.
