What a treat! Rockefeller plaza without the usual crush of people while it's still dark enough to show off the lights. The entire video is so enjoyable, AK. Thanks for getting such an early start to your day. :) We recently saw an interesting documentary titled Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's (2013). The building and business have an amazing history. The Goodman family lived on the top floor. To get around building code restrictions, they listed themselves as part of the janitorial staff. The film highlighted the work they put into their display windows. Maybe there's a video in that for you. Kindest regards.

Actionkid you are amazing! I was watching these videos for fun and its more than fun now! When i have hard days i turn to your channel and it always uplift me! One thing i like the most about these walks is seeing that its so true about the saying the city doesnt sleep! I remember years ago i was an overnight stocker and had some difficulties sleeping and would walk around my city and neighborhood.....no good! Purely dead and dont see anything except police! Its so much life so late and so early in nyc, i gotta visit sometime soon, i only hope i can have fun in person like i had on youtube!

Another great video..but they do make me homesick...but that's okay you make it better! To bad you didn't see them walking the camels, donkeys, sheep that Radio City Music Hall uses in the live nativity scene for their Christmas Spectacular! I used to see it between around 7:30 and 8:00 on the 52nd St side off of 6th. Quite a sight in NY although most people never even seem to notice! 🎄

I've done it previously but it's more effort than its worth. I used a phone app but it would constantly crash and wasn't reliable. Not to mention I needed to make two versions of the same video (one with the map and one without the map) since many people actually found the map distracting.

Since I watched one of these videos for the first time the other day I now know about the Rockerfeller Centre (rich (financially, maybe not spiritually) famous family) where they have that fancy Christmas tree..lots of shops, lots of rich shops for people with lots of money.
