Grand Theft Auto V is an action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. Yeah not real RTX or its at least exaggerated. From what I've noticed, RTX actually does the opposite of saturating the world for games like Metro Exodus or Minecraft. Plus you can totally run this modded GTA on like an rtx 3060 or 3050 ti considering how easy it already is to run GTA 5.

I think modding should just become a natural process of game development. Let devs release their games, let modders add that extra layer of polish, and then add the mod as a downloadable expansion/DLC to the game and the modder also gets revenue for it 🔥

@@cen0b it's difficult to tell at a glance if RT reflections are there or not because of all the motion blur and everything important being in the center of the frame. This is an ideal scenario for traditional screen space reflections. And there exist real RT ReShade mods for GTA 5, but I don't think there's anything that does reflections yet, only GI and shadows. So you're probably right that it's fake.

@@PrettyGazi Gta 5 doesn't support ray tracing. If you need 2-3 graphic menus to increase your reflections, ray tracing isn't what you see, it's modified graphics. Ray tracing isn't this reflective.

@@viarnay ray tracing is about reflections (with natural reflecting and diffusing light). What do you mean by saying it isn’t gameplay? Is it pre rendered instead? I have seen Ride 4 on PlayStation 5, and to be honest, it looks better than this GTA V video. I’m surprised to learn that Ride 4 doesn’t even has ray tracing! @@emiel333 RT is an imitation of reflections you can't have a realistic effect in the whole scenario because you need a ton of computing power. Is just cosmetics and have a dramatic impact in the performance of any videogame.

@@viarnay The vast majority of these modders don't take the time out to understand how reflections actually work. Specular, RefractionIOR and Fresnel is very important when it comes to realistic details.

We already do have this tech, its just that most people dont have it as its only available in 500 dollar GPUs and 500 dollar gaming consoles(except rtx is only available for select games on consoles). The only thing holding back the implementation of better graphics is people not being able to keep up due to the prices of things(also high end GPUs will always be expensive as they have been for the last 2 decades). For example, a Steam hardware survey suggests that the three most common cards used is the GTX 1650, GTX 1060, and the RTX 2060. Two of the cards don't even support ray tracing and the 2060 is probably the most weak RTX card aside from the 2050(which I've only found in laptops). Devs for a majority of games have to hold back so their games are playable for people with lower end hardware. Plus, games like rdr2 take a decade to make. Btw Cyberpunk and Metro Exodus EE already have graphics comparable to the video above even when you turn off all the obnoxious effects in the video that "INTER" uses to hide all the base game textures.

As a motorcycle rider, the traction and a physical movement make it way less realistic lol. Personally I think the only thing that makes this realistic and stick out is the weather and colors/lighting. Still really good! :)
