Alright. I got kicked out of college during the pandemic. Couldn't adjust to the whack online curriculums in time to stop myself from getting awful grades. I recently started taking some online ASU courses to earn credit to show to my old school to get back in because I FINALLY have the drive and determination to finish school and be successful and tonight while listening to this playlist, I knocked out my finals and got three A's and a B. This is the last one. And not because I swear I'll be better. If all goes well, within the week I'll have my diploma and be off to that scary adult world. I started this paper 3 months ago, finished the outline in a week. It's taken me until 2 days ago to pick this back up. A part of me thinks I did this because I fear leaving all this behind. But life moves forward, and right now I have to as well. If not for myself, then for everyone who sacrificed because they thought I could make it. Here's hoping my fellow procrastinators.

Not an essay, but I'm finishing a 3-page dialogue about French literature, all in French. Due in 6 hours...hopefully I can get at least 5 hours of sleep. :D Update: I finished the dialogue and the essay in 3 hours and got an A+. :D

Just because you're failing doesn't mean it's not right for you, it's just a little harder to reach your goal. - Lady I met at a bus stop. I don't believe in things like "meant to be" that much, but this encounter felt like one. It was almost straight out of a movie. Talking with someone you don't know and them giving you a little life advice feels like a path I had to go through to become a better me. I think about her from time to time and I feel very grateful even if it was just a few words. Those words gave me hope for a better me and I hope I can help others too. I have a team paper that's due tomorrow morning. I'm looking it over and have come to the rude realization that 2/3 of teammates put the barest minimum effort possible. Blatant grammar mistakes, ridiculously long run-on sentences, the same 3 facts reworded over and over for three paragraphs....I genuinely want to cry. Obviously it is absolutely my fault as well, both for not catching it sooner and for not trying hard enough to set a schedule for all of us. My procrastinating habits brought me here. I have 2 pending essays and 1 video presentation due today. I had to reread also our overall midterm topic from major. Sure, I felt the whole burnout in this sem. College life is tough and knowing it all I am finding my energy back to done the works on time. And im in my sophomore year and still finding the trial & error for everything. But, what wonders me is that, I still continue and im still here because I know I'll get better on upcoming years. I'll get back to this, if I became consistent with my goals and attract the person I wanted to be hopefully. :D
