I love the teeny mushroom stickers, they're adorable! i'm loving all these fall themed and spooky nails this month and for the heat spiking, I find if i move my hand slowly to go under the light instead of all at once, i rarely get a heat spike at all, so if that bothers anyone here in the comments like it did me, it's worth a try, especially for base coats that are right on the natural nail

Since you're on a peel off base coat journey - I saw one creator on tiktok showing her prep for gel x with jello jello peel off base and she puts a layer of non wipe top coat on her base before applying the coat of jello jello. I've never tried jello jello peel off base so I don't know how good it works, but I think that the non wipe top coat layer can sorta act like a smooth natural nail. Good luuck with your future sets ✨
You can use the handle of the cuticle pusher to soften the edges of hand files so they are not so sharp! The 'file' pattern on the handle helps with this. :) Cute video!!!

The rhinestones in the brown autumn tones are called Maillard if you wanted to look for the specific listings. I have several types and use them all year round, love em. 🇦🇺❤️

Great video Anne! Lots of useful tips too! I never thought of using my mini mandrel bit to remove the dead skin around my cuticle but I noticed what a great job it did on yours so I will have to try it now lol It's so true what you said about trying different nail products like base gels and top coats to find what works best for you. I really love BTartbox soft gel nail tips but I'm not crazy about their top coat. So I use my favorite one from ENC that's no wipe and super glossy. I'm curious to see how you like Makartt's peel off base coat. I have it and really like it. I always use it when I run out of Jello Jello or if I want a quicker removal. And I gotta say, I just love the stilleto nails on you! They look so gorgeous!! 😊❤

I have the same cuticle pusher and I use it to spread my solid gels on the tips! I just ordered some cute safety glasses! Had a piece in my eye I couldn’t get out and this last time I almost had my eye taken out. You made it look easy 😂 Cute video 🫶

Hiii!!! Definitely new to your channel but love it !!! New obsession lol. I’ve heard that if you put a peel off base coat just in the middle of your nail and not around the edges that helps with longevity but is still easy to peel off. Not sure if you’ve tried that yet or if it didn’t work for you but I just wanted to share ❤

If you haven’t used the Makartt rhinestone gel it’s a must have. I thought I seen you use it before but it was probably someone else 😂 if you haven’t tried it you must it’s the bes5 rhinestone gel. Period
Hey honey, thank you for sharing. I use Born Pretty peel off base coat on my toesies. To remove, I just gently lift the polish at the cuticle, add a drop of jojoba oil at the point of the lifted gel, then peel off gently, no nail damage and the usually last a good 3 to 4 weeks, I hope this helps 💜😈💜 xxx
@@AnneElizabethNails just leave the oil for a few minutes to get under the polish. I did try this peel off base coat on my fingernails, & builder gel, but this normally resulted in removing the builder too. There is a lady who uses peel off base coat on overlays. She does not apply the polish too close to the cuticle and edge of the overlay, for the same reason, but she normally pops them off straight away. 💜😈💜 xxx
anne, I have a question for you. Do you find that your natural nails have become bendy and flexible due to having false nails on a lot? I have only been doing my nails for about 3 months and my natural nails are this way now, when before I had pretty hard nails.
Yesss at first it was like this. It's probably from overfilling a bit, which is why a hard gel base layer (just a super thin one) would help soooooooo much!! 💖 it's why I started doing it

Meybe if you wouldnt buff your hardgel, just use primer before peel off base... maybe this would work better? Maybe you could do some tests on swatch sticks, so it wouldn't ruin your natural nails?
I agreeeee i don't know if I would have ever tried them if they weren't like one of the only ones with a Halloween box tbhhh because they are a bit pricey
