You've probably thought of this already by now, but if the shelf bothers you, why not get some canvas fabric and paint a curtain for it? You could attach it so it can come off really easily for when you're doing orders and in the meantime, cuteness :D

if your printer allows it. Print right on the envelope. I use to do administration and that is what I did when I sent out mail. You reduce having to use sticker paper.

Hi Leigh! I'm not 100% sure but I think you can print directly onto envelopes, you just have to select the right size in the paper settings. That'll recuse the paper waste and also save your hand!

Hey Leigh! I don't know if you already figured out why some of your characters weren't imported when you made your font, so maybe this isn't new info for you, but I had the same problem, when I did it. I found out, that the free version of calligraphr only allows you to make 75 (or so, don't remember the exact number) characters at once. If you make more, it randomly deletes some of them. I love these vlogs, btw. I'm watching them while eating breakfast before I start working at my own business ;D

Leigh get a return address stamp from no issue they sell small vertical ones or get a self inking one that uses soy ink. That may help you cut down waste with labels.

Hey Leigh, cutting all those address labels sounds like a major pain, I'd recommend maybe getting another Dymo that prints smaller labels or I think (and I could be so wrong) that you can adjust an existing thermal label printer to print on small labels (am I making ANY sense at all? Oh well.) I had to get a Dymo labelwriter 450 because one of my larger retailers is having us put barcodes on all our products (yes it's as awful as it sounds, haha...cries silently) Anyway, I feel your pain and wishing you luck! ;b

Have you thought about using a stamp for addressing your envelopes? That would cut down on paper waste since it would just be a stamp and ink :)

I wound up sorting my own stickers and packing some orders along with this video. Thanks for the company! The drudgery is extra-drudgey these days. And you make me want to eliminate allll these plastic baggies.

idea: what about printing your mailing addresses on regular recyclable paper and just gluing it on envelopes with a Eco-friendly glue? You can even use your return stamp on same paper to make it a cohesive label look.

Locally I have very poor options for quality printing where I live, but don't have much feedback on outsourced places to order from that other artists have been happy with the quality at... Also, thank you for all the useful information and insight, I literally just found your vlog at a time I needed advice and inspiration most haha
