That’s a great suggestion! I’d love to see an affordable makeup version of this as well. Also your skincare routine prior to this 5 min makeup session. Perhaps a 5 minute skincare routine?
Thanks to you I am hooked on Cream products. Please do a best cream products update video. More drugstore please. I love your videos Best Regards from California
LOVED IT. This is now going to be my every day look. Can you please do a drugstore skincare routine? I've got dry skin just like you and have been having a lot of trouble with it
I don't ever see anyone talking about it, but the elf Beautifully Bare Cheeky Glow looks like a pretty good dupe for that cream blush. It comes in a pot rather than a stick, but it is nice and sheer and easy to blend, plus it is long lasting. Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone looking for a cheaper dupe!
My favorite technique for 5 min makeup is to dot concealer on my face and then blend everything in with my hands using my SPF moisturizer. Specifically the too faced born this way concealer because it’s so high coverage that it covers my acne scars but blending it with my moisturizer sheers it out just enough so that the finish acts like a B.B. cream. It’s a super quick base for me!
This is a very realistic makeup look for five mins, thank you for not using highlighter most of the videos that I have watched always end up using highlighter and I could never incorporate all those steps within five mins.
This look is so similar to my daily makeup routine. I’m 43 with combination skin, and as I’ve become older I’ve come to the belief that less is more. Your tutorials, and recommendations, are some of the best on RU-vid. I’ve never been disappointed with a purchase I’ve made based on your recommendations. Most recently I purchased Bondi Bae and Sunkissed by Nudstix during the Rouge sale. I also ordered Laura Mercier’s blush in Grapefruit, and Youth To The People cleanser. I’d love to know what nail polish you’re wearing? Thanks!
I love your channel so much. Your makeup philosophy is perfect for me. I’m 49 and the style of makeup that works for my skin has changed so much in just the last couple of years. Getting old can suck, but it doesn’t have to show on your face when you finally realize that less is definitely more when it comes to makeup. Love you girl! ❤️❤️❤️
Please tell us how you keep your skin so clear. I am nearing my 26th birthday and my skin has been out of control for the past year after having clear skin all my life. Nothing I have tried helps, not even going to the dermatologist or eating better. I struggle with really nasty pimples and redness that I have never had before and it takes a toll on my confidence. Thank you Jamie!
Lovely look, Jamie! My trusty go-to five-minute morning-to-night favourites, in order of application: (0) Paula's Choice Calm Redness SPF30 (1) Urban Decay One and Done Foundation (2) Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Fiber Mascara (3) Misslyn Waterproof Color Liner 252 (a nude eyeliner for the lower waterline) (4) Kevyn Aucoin The Curling Mascara (5) Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder (6) BareMinerals Invisible Bronze (7) Korres Pomegranate Lip Butter or Essence Shine Shine Shine clear Lipgloss
I found your channel and subscribed when you had around 30,000 subs. I'm so proud of you!! I love your videos and watching you grow over the last few years has been fun. You have always stayed true to who you are, never got caught up in any drama and given us honest, thorough makeup reviews and tutorials. Thanks for being you!!
I love the Glossier Stretch Concealer for all over face coverage, Fenty Beauty Match Stix (specifically Sinamon) for a blown out blush/highlight/eyeshadow
I use that mask too! I really love it and prep my skin with it too sometimes. I was thinking about filming a 5 minute makeup tutorial for the Dubai summer tomorrow. 🌞😅
Great tutorial. One thing that helps me a lot when I’m short on time is to use CP’s Super Shock Shadows. Their duochrome makes it so easy to do a one product eye that looks like you’ve used multiple shades. Thanks so much, love🍃🌸.
I can’t even tell you how many of your tutorials I’ve recreated because you’re the only influencer I know who has dry skin like me and all the products you discuss I love and trust your input. I’ve been wanted to start a channel so I can share my love of makeup and share my looks, but I’m so nervous to put myself out there. Could you give me and anyone else any advice about starting a channel or posting makeup looks online?? 💕💕
wonderful! My favourite combo for base is Estee Lauder Double wear original foundation with Estee Lauder original concealer with dofoot applicator. It does not need setting at all and lasts so long without the need for powder and spray. The lip colour is so beautiful and your face looks so clean and perfect.
I'm so thankful that there are people like you or Estee Lalone that embrace the dewy, fresh makeup look. I'm always looking for new products or techniques to make me look like a sweaty baby and you fulfill that need!
loving this look! its perfect for everyday and for working in a school too. So fresh and awake! what is your favourite brush/brushes to use for cream blush and cream bronzer? Hoping to see an updated best cream products video! Love the lip on you too! Do you find that its sticky at all? trying this out asap! :)
Fav quick make up products are derma blend smooth liquid camo(blends soooo easily and gives you a good medium coverage very quickly), Chanel bronze universal or milk matte cream bronzer, and the wetnwild megaglo highlighter in awesome blossom(orangey copper bronze color perfect for green eyes just packed on the lid and smoked out in the lower lash line)
Products I use for looks like these: No foundation/concealer on a daily basis. Bobbi brown crush lip colour - for lips, cheeks and eyes. (I live in a hot & humid country so these don’t last at all, excited to finish it and try something new! ) Mac shape + shade brow pen plus Glossier boybrow. (Powder, pen then gel makes my brow last! Best routine so far for sweaty weather) Mascara - Dimensions Ultime De Chanel (that washes of with water) If I have time, Sephora contour stick for a bit of bronze, then Glossier Haloscope in topaz. Recently really love the Nudestix Lip Glacé in Nude Cherry! Moisturising and minty thing that feels so good and pretty!
I have been doing this look with cc cream and nudestix bronzer and blush plus some mascara for about three weeks now! Feel so fresh! If Im into eyes one day I will just dab some liquid eyeshadow on by glossier and Im good to go. The full coverage life is on hold for now 😍
I love so much that you bring awareness to sunscreen! There are different grades of it though and some have a better broad spectrum than others. I would love if you did a video or portion of a video on your top sunscreens.
Multi tasking a makeup item saves a lot of time for me. I use the Pixi glow cake in gilded bare which is a graduated one pan of highlighter blush and bronzer. I use it all over face, dipping more into bronzer or blush when appropriate. Then I take a small face brush or squeeze the brush I have been using together and run the same product over my eyes. This allows me to look put together with eye makeup too without another palette. I just use mascara, brow and lip and a tinted moisturizer as my daily go to look with this one face palette. It is $28 but I got it on sale. They have a pinker version too, but this peach bronze one is my fave. It takes about 4minutes. Love this look too, may try it with cream products.
I’m so glad u used the BB foundation with a brush I’m so gonna try this tomorrow!! I love the finish it gives but I also feel it’s so heavy sometimes with a sponge!
Love it! What I want to do for work every single day! I may actually invest in the Bobbi Brown foundation. But now all I need is for you to find affordable dupes for all the other products you mentioned. Tysm 😬
Avène Children’s Sunscreen 🧴, SPF 50-the spray bottle. It isn’t greasy on the face. It’s $33/200 ml (or $26.40 if you’re a Senior buying on Seniors Day at certain pharmacies). I add a drop of Drunk Elephant Umbra Tinte . It’s gives you a natural, sun kissed look. Alternative: Mix either First Aid Beauty Moisturizing Primer (or Revlon primer) with Tarte loose foundation powder (or any loose foundation powder). I still put my Avène sunscreen 🧴 under makeup 💄. I use the lightest bronzing powder I have so I don’t have to fuss too much (Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer or any other light bronzer). I use Born this Way or MAC Concealer. If I want fast eyes, I use Nudestix, then Mascara-any type-I have small ones, so I use different ones, and Physicians Formula Butter Blush in Plum Rose. It melts into the skin. I do use some powder, too, depending on what I used as a base, and some lipstick. Thanks, Jamie!
Lovely glowing look and the 5 minutes is even better. I LOVE the Josie Maran SPF. I bought my second bottle on the Sephora sale. I’ve got dry aging skin and I’m allergic to chemical sunscreen and it’s the only mineral SPF that is moisturizing, AND plays well with makeup! It never pills either!!!👍👍👍
Those products work so nicely with your skin! Not really an item, but a tip is to have a small bag with travel size items for the days you only have a few minutes to do makeup. Otherwise I could spend all 5 minutes just looking through my things and choosing what I want to use. Plus it's nice that I can throw it in my bag in case I get an extra minute to finish
Hey Jamie! You should try out the L’Oréal infallible blush stick in sexy flush! It’s this gorgeous, natural, satin blush & it blends beautifully into the skin. It’s very quick & easy to use & I think you would love it!
Ohhh god that Tom Ford contour duo is so expensive but so beautiful. I have it in intensity 2 and it blends so beautifully and it lasts so well on the skin while looking skin like throughout. I even love the illuminating one for the natural wet glow.
Becca Backlight priming filter & undereye corrector! With that corrector I don't even feel the need to put on concealer anymore. I just apply corrector and blend my foundation into the undereye area. I also use the corrector as a highlight. 🌟🌟🌟
Love this video! I struggle so much to feel like I’m not “compromising” on a quick makeup look. I just love makeup so much lol💄 But I noticed you said you left your sheet mask on for so long! I’ve read a few times that it’s best to only leave them on for 10-15 minutes because once they start to dry up, the mask can actually start to pull moisture FROM your skin. Sounds crazy, but I’ve been sticking to 15 minutes tops w my sheet masks and it’s been working great 👍🏽
You look beautiful ❤️ Definitely go for more cream products and like using the cream bronzer and blush mixed for a really quick definition on the eyes.
JAMIE I GOT THE JOSIE MARAN SPF TO USE AS A DAY MOISTURIZER DURING THE VIB SALE I’M SO EXCITED! AlSO YOU NEED NEED NEED THE KOSAS CREAM BLUSH/HIGHLIGHT DUO I LOVE IT ALREADY ITS SO DEWY!
I'm so proud of myself,Jamie! I went out with ZERO face makeup on today. Just some cream highlight and brows. Not even mascara! AND I went to Sephora too! Your rubbing off on me..in a good way. I'm totally trying this !😘😘
I love Josie Maran SPF. It looks like my skin has good match with argan oil. I've been sleeping with my makeup on at night recently (please don't blame me, I had a job with 24/7 work schedule, never had time for anything other than work, so I just had to quit after 6 months). And the next morning (after only 3 hours of sleep daily) my skin actually looked better since I started using Josie Maran SPF. Now I want to try the other one that comes with tint
Gorgeous. I would LOVE to look like that - my husband likes natural makeup (or none at all on me), but I struggle with feeling confident to slap it on and let my skin show - always putting on full shadow, and it’s getting tiring. I’m really interested in cream products - can you talk about how to pick a liquid/cream blush/bronzer, and some of the differences between the Nude stix, Cloud paint, NARA liquid, Chanel tan de Chanel, etc. Thanks!!
I've seen other youtubers do a real 5 minute look, without stopping the timer and without all the talking and even when they talk they kept it simple. The look is beautiful but she went way into detail about the products, if she hadn't of stopped the timer do you really think this would have been 5 minutes? Probably not
I love cream eyeshadows for when I am in a hurry but want to add a little something extra to my look. The Laura Mercier Cavier Sticks are my favorite! If I want to add liner, I really like using the Pixi pencil liners because they are just so creamy, so they glide right on without any effort at all. Also, if you like that Bobbi Brown foundation, I would try her original skin foundation; it is by far my favorite foundation! It is more sheer coverage, but it just looks so beautiful on the skin. =)
My 5 minute makeup looks very similar but with different products, I done it today and used Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser Urban Decay naked skin concealer Urban Decay all nighter powder (for face and to set eyes) Milk makeup lip and cheek in Werk (used as blusher and a lipstick) Chantecaille liquid lumière in Sheen MAC paintpot in soft ochre The Body Shop mascara (okay but my favourite is Benefit They’re Real) They’re all great products that I’m really enjoying. I love multi purpose things like the milk lip to cheek, I’m not a huge bronzer fan but if I’ve got 10 minutes I’ll add in a cream bronzer and also a shimmery eyeshadow.
Love this look Jamie! You look radiant :) my five-minute makeup has got to be the hourglass ambient lighting edit palettes, they have all you need except for concealer and a base product!
my 5 minute makeup routine is the it cosmetics cc cream, maybelline age rewind concealer, anastasia brow whiz, and physician's formula butter bronzer (+ throw it in my crease)
Yeess! Thank you I love the Foundation and never wanted to try it because of it‘s claims but when you said you loved it so much I bought it and now I am completely obsessed! 🔥😍❤️
I have naturally flushed cheeks so I’ve been skipping blush, but will go in with highlighter that I double as a quick wash of eyeshadow. Also tinted lip balm for pigmented lips.
Love this look and all the cream products:) I actually love the Milk Kush brow gel - got it by accident and absolutely love it for a quick out the door brow 😊👍 Thanks Jamie for sharing - my husband would love if I could get my makeup done and getting us out the door in 5 minutes 😳We drive together every morning and I’m the slow one lol Have a beautiful evening💕 Tammy Roy 🇨🇦
What lash curler do you use? I haven’t came across any RU-vidr that mentions the brand they use. Also, Josie Maran spf 47 moisturizer has a new color tint! Just picked it up from the VIB Sephora sale. I’ve used the regular spf 47 for a couple of years now and it never disappoints. Can you also do a mini video on the lashes you been rocking lately.
