See how Masterbook's Charlotte Mason inspired language arts level 3 works. It is open & Go with short daily lessons. The workbook could really be done in just a few minutes a day but if you add in the independent reading (any books you choose) and the games it would be more complete and take the 20-30 minutes. There's also the book 101 Bible Lessons that goes along with this curriculum.
Every week has a rhythm but full of different activities;
day 1 - reading/ psalm/ picture study
day 2 - grammar/ punctuation
day 3 - grammar/ punctuation
day 4 - read from 101 Bible Lessons/ draw/ verse
day 5 - spelling
I found 1 day of spelling was not enough to grasp the words. After watching how Anyday Blessings used the activities in the appendix and daily schedule that helped a lot. Here's her video:
