@ParthaPriyabrataPrusty actually every flat should have balcony for split ac which only happens in luxury apartments. You can have ODU away from 15 meters. So only flats on top floor can have odu on roof.

This is not a work of HERO. This is a matter of safety issue. Company should provide Safety belts to this workers. If any EHS team see this video they will blacklist the company.
@@youneverknow01 May be you don't know about the country where u stay. India stands in top 5 in world in EHS. If you are an educated and technical engineering person then you must know about EHS. In my society one technician fell off from 9th floor and died. Reason: Slab collapsed. In these kind of buildings you cant trust any wall except the pillars. Ab builder ko bhi paise bachne the. There are so many cases. Isliye safety ka dhyan rakhna and ac vale bhai ko saf inkar kardo ki agar saftey belt pehnega tab karna and tab bhi thoda dhyan rakhna hai

Bhai ac aur ac ka outlet dono ka spot toh safe jagha pe hi laga hai but jo risk aya vo wearing karte aya. Outlet terrace (roof) pe lagwaya toh wearing shaft se hoyi thi toh waha bande ne bada mehant wala kaam kiya and Thanks to Jesus koi bi problem nahi hoyi sab kaam aram se hoya. Everyone in the comments is blaming the company for not providing safety belts. What about the customer who is accepting such risky service from technicians? The customer should outright deny if they have any responsibility and demand better safety.
Bro this technician will never listen to customer. So I live I apartment society. We have strict rules without safety no ac or other technicians are allowed.

My brother is also part time technician for extra money if needed he also earn 2 lakh per month with his ac work but he also go on 7 floor on small area to fix outer he is professional
I hope the Govt of India takes note and provides free insurance and mandatory safety training to installation professionals. They too are our brothers. Moreover builders must make proper accessible areas for AC installation and it should be a mandatory building code. Occupancy certificate must not be given if the same is not provided.
I specifically installed my ODU at a place which is easily accessible just to avoid this, although that costed me few thousand rupees extra for the extra pipes which I could save if I installed it on outer wall.

Today I climbed with small ladder, hanging on the balcony leaning on a wall of around 60cm. The height below was was at least 50 meters, we needed to get to the roof to fix the fucking VRV of the hotel, and during fixing, the compressor got crazy and was shaking uncontrollably, leading to agressive pipe breaking which resulted with 19kg of r410a leaking, Luckily nobody was not hurt, and luckily there was no flame. Im now at home, feeling like shit, because I dont think 1000$ per month is not worth my life. Stay strong guys.... I know we are all poor and shit... The only thing that keeps us alive is God.... Thank you God, for keeping our lives on daily basis. If you are a HVAC, you will understand.
