I enjoyed several excellent holidays between Cochem and Bernkastel. I never quite made it to Burg Eltz although I came close once. I love the bikes too! Thanks for posting.

Has the bike the stock sprocket mounted ? My Classic 500 (2018 / euro 4) seems to rev at hygher regimes at the same speeds...🤔🤔🤔I I know some colleague bikers that have sprockets with more theeth to decrease vibrations at hygher speeds , considering the use in flatter terrains. In my case , riding in hilly regions from north Portugal, I kkep the stock one. Relaxing video. Thank you.
Thanks for watching 😊 As far as I know, the sprocket is standard. I didn't change it and I'm not aware that the dealer changed anything, but I don't know for sure as I haven't looked. In general, the bike runs really smooth and I'm always wondering what people are complaining about when they say the Classic 500 vibrates a lot. My dads 1988 Yamaha FJ1200 vibrates way more than my Classic 🤣
I've clocked just short of 7000km in one year. I've only had the scheduled maintenance done at 500/1000/3000/6000km, no issues with the bike - runs like a charm 👍😁
I think that you make the same mistake as I did ,looking for the non exsisting 6 th gear. Am I right. I installed a small digital revcounter and now I know what revs my bike makes at 80 and 100kmh . I have a gun metal Grey 500 classic never had more fun
Hmmm... not really in the sense of looking for a sixth gear 🤣 Sometimes I just forget in which gear I am and shift up to check if I'm already in 5th gear or not 😅 I usually know what revs my bike does at 80 in 4th and 5th, but sometimes I'm just distracted by the view that I don't pay attention to revs or gear switches 😅🤣 Definitely never had more fun on any bike! The Classic 500 is just sublime 😀
