This week let's sit back and enjoy a relaxing 'window style' box fan on MEDIUM SPEED during a rainstorm. It features dripping rain and distant thunder outside of an open window. I've gotten a lot of requests for these types of videos and this one is probably my two most popular. Clearly it's because of the little models on the dresser. This storm recording does not have extremely loud thunder. It is there, but hopefully not so loud as to scare you out of bed.

This is how I would sleep in Arkansas, middle of summer, windows up, fan on, and listening to a nice summer storm. This makes me miss it a lot, but I’m glad I can relive the feeling with this

Thank god. This is my nostalgia right here. My current fan is an Amazon floor fan and although it's great for gentle cooling, it sounds so whiny in comparison to the classic box fan. A lot quieter too. Good for my partner but not for me I guess! I miss it :/

Yup. Placement of the mic is key. If it's in the wind of the fan it will sound more like static. These guys do it right.

when i was about 9 there was a hurricane happening and my mom worked at a hotel and they let us sleep in a room there, the first night was really loud rain and thunder with the fan on full blast and for some reason it was really relaxing I wish I could go back there to relive it but this is the closest I'll get ♥

Legit reminds me of back when i was 12 and living on the "farm". Old country house with no AC, fan in the window next to the bed on high... rain outside. The evaporative cooling from the windy mist made it a bit damp but cool enough to have a blanket... when it was hot af outside the whole day. I miss those moments.

People who have anxiety attacks should use this for therapy. It calms your nerves when you're awake and when I use it for sleep it helps you to sleep in the best way ever. I feel so refreshed and relaxed when I wake up. This is a heaven send.

I always had trouble sleeping since I can remember. Growing up I discovered the fan Magic. Bless this!! ❤ I found this 1 year ago and I'm still here. The electricity bill is not as much as it was and when I'm so stressed that I can't sleep, it is here and also I always wake up fresh without being sick in the winter and when there is noise in my house when I can't sleep, I just put this on. There should never be any ads in the middle any of my videos. If there is, RU-vid jammed it in there without permission. They have been doing that more and more on everyone's longer videos. There's no way to stop it and they don't believe me when I complain directly. I use RU-vid Premium so I don't ever see ads on any video. I love it. Sleep well.

Saves me money from the power bill and it comes with rain and helps me fall asleep faster. I think so yes. And still feel the wind from the fan for some reason. I want more of these. I wish stores like Walmart and sites like Amazon would realize that some things like fans are not seasonal anymore. Like I know its winter but I still need to replace my broken fan because circulation and background noise.

Did you know box fans don't cool rooms they create a windchill effect on a person making you feel cool so if you don't point it at you. you will stay warm NERD 1000

@@jcshook1230 also if you sweat the fan cools you off automatically while you sleep. It's an involuntary process loll. Except during opiate withdrawal, the sweats and fan do NOT mix loll

You and Randall's Rest & Relaxation are the best ever since I was a little girl when I would grab my pillow and blanket turn the bathroom fan on and go to sleep in the tub 😊. So I have always needed the same kind of sound for sleeping. Thank yall even my kids and husband sleeps to it

I tried it for the first time at 4am Sunday morning and slept till 6:30 pm!!!. This is the best that I have heard. Played it through my old Sansui stereo with 2 speakers in front and 2 in the rear. Sounded like the real thing. Next time I'll set my alarm clock cause' this will put you in a semi coma!!!!!
