I agree 100%! Him dying tons of times gets old, and it breaks her heart more and more everytime. How much can she take? At some point if this continues she will either lose it, or completely give up on their love, because she can't take it anymore with that fear and pain!

I don't like Landon/Handon either. And I agree - they want to make her look strong, but they failed in the better part of season 2 - she didn't do anything other than screaming his name. I get it that she is scared she might lose him. If the whole thing will lead up to the moment in which she accepts that he can die and be gone, and she somehow gets out of that balloon in which she is to think and revolve all around Landon - good. But if they are killing him 10 times for the drama or because they have nothing better to show, now that's stupid.

I tried to do that. Because putting aside the twins (maybe - they were not very interested in her pain), NO ONE knows what she's been through. No one knows how heartbreaking her life has been. They see her as a bad ass student, as one of them, and they can't understand who she really is, because they hadn't been near her in the darkest periods of her life. Sometimes I get annoyed by the stupid things they blame her for, or get upset or etc, and I'm like - Dude, this girl has lost both her parents, do you really thing she has the energy for this shit?

@@Maggs_ Me too! Like it bothers me so much that they seem to brush over her trauma and use it as a joke sometimes. I’m really hoping they delve into her more this new season and actually have a storyline that is centred on her

I can agree about the writing - it hasn't been very good. They just made her the "girlfriend". She has no storyline away from Landon lately, does nothing but cry for him. And to me it's very bad writing he dies every 2 episodes... it just gets boring, we all know he will be back, so even the Landon/Handon supporters can't get emotional about it. How many times has he died so far?

@@Maggs_ Well I can see a lot from the flaws in the writing and the flaws that fans have when it comes to the show. The writers are practically giving more digression in development for Hope and Landon. Plus we have toxicity and horrible majority TVD fans that complain, slander, spread hate, verbal abuse, and threats to the characters and the actors. The writers are putting more paranoia, doubt, fear in Hope's character making her more protective and the girlfriend without a storyline because if you go back to the originals (most of her storyline was tied to her family, father's past and enemies. Which are all gone due to Klaus killing all his enemies in TO Season 5.) Hope is in a relationship yes, but that doesn't mean you can add a purpose or path that Hope want's to take with her art, rebuilding the supernatural community, showing Hope is being more than a tribrid, Mikaelson, friend, and girlfriend. People keep asking for Hope to all Mikaelson dark like her father which would be appropriate to at the right moment like what she did with the Necromancer. What they did with Hope is making her in a long list of red reads from different show/movie fandom that lose loved ones, grieve, and unleash power. I'm seeing that repetitiveness. As Landon for people keep complaining from the fact that he's useless, well that is due to that fact writers did that. He has shown to be good supportive boyfriend that complements that his girlfriend's a badass (People complain that he's not brooding, bad boy type. Not everyone can find those so quite complaining and be glad he's good man! ) The never showed more of him being the guy that dates Hope Mikealeson. They keep showing less progression his in Landon's powers, finding his footing in the supernatural world. Or what else he could do. Last season we finally saw Landon flying for the first time. We were hoping to see more from him. But they didn't give us him dying and ressurecting! The phoenix is an amazing creature and were hoping to see more powers, instead they canceled it on the spot by taking his powers. Which make no sense because that golden arrow makes no sense. Due to the fact that it was owned by an erote. I was expecting it to perform action similar to his other love arrows. And it can conveniently kills a phoenix? The show is based in school for magic and the supernatural and no one did any research on the object, lock it away, destroy it? Don't get me started on the fandom that been not only horrible to his character and others, but I wouldn't be surprised if they targeted the actor too. They go for his flaws and appearance (which I would add were put in by the writers) That the fandom amplifies because of their ship wars which are unnecessary! They would most like doing verbal abuse or death threats with Aria since he is quite in social media. I never understand what's wrong with people and I have been bottling my emotions of everything I digested. God I needed to get that off my chest because the writing was unfavorable, the characters development worsened, fans grow more horrible on social media by the minute, and I watching the cookie crumble. Sorry if I wrote this so long. I had that in for so long!

@@davidbaca411 I agree - losing the phoenix was probably the dumbest decision they've made (and the list is very long honestly). I don't like Landon, never have. I don't mind Handon, I just don't ship them. They would be a lot more interesting if they had other stories, not only being girlfriend/boyfriend. I think Landon has selfdoubt problems that are a huge part of his mind and that is why he gets so mean sometimes, or acts selfishly. Sometimes i want to punch him really. When he got mad at her couple of episodes ago that she wanted him to go into the prison world - she NEVER called him weak. This is what HE felf inside and was bothering him and he took it out on her. He was so wrong with his reaction. Using Klaus's letter for the musical - and no, before anyone tries to argue about that - the fact that hope was okay in the end doesn't change the fact that he DIDN'T respect her decision. He acts so selfishly, he gets mad every 5 seconds and he tries SO damn hard to show and prove that he is not weak. It got annoying really.. I don't know - I don't think he is the right fit for Hope. He easily forgets what she'sbeen through, which pisses me off so much! He is not mentaly strong - he can't be a good support system to her because he is constantly complaining about something. He is not there to support her, he gets "in" her way all the time. I'm not talking about the last 2-3 episodes. I'm talking about s1 and s2.

@@davidbaca411 And before anyone jumps at me - I don't blame the actor or the character - I understand why he feels that way, he wants to fit in and be equal to the others - that is normal! The writers did a poor job writing it - it was constanly discussed tons of episodes this was the ONLY thing he was talking about. The writing is very bad, honestly... it's not just with him. They have no idea what to do with their storylines.

​@@Maggs_ That is where I say if you want to a write a relationship correctly to either thrive or die. Do not point in the negative traits and flaws both characters in the relationship. It always takes both keeping it going or deciding to ending it. Landon's choice to write the the song in the musical was bad, but he would never really would go forward with it unless it was Hope's consent since he would only write and play songs that would be only for Hope's ears to hear. Hope struggle in her relationship with Landon falls with her trying to control the situation and she tends to let her pride and temper get in the way. There is the fact Hope never wants anything good to to come her way she never wants that spark of happiness because that tends to pop in her face, metaphorically speaking. Landon maybe writing about the school's founding and history, he wanted to give the story that Hope wanted of her father, since he knows that's the memory of Hope's father for people to finally see. (Which only few saw of Klaus) Landon never knew or met him, but he knew Hope and he never gave of damn if he was mass murder, since he's experienced worst in humanity with foster care and bullying. If you want to write a relationship do it right. They are happy, have much in common, have cute scenes together, talk intimately and emotionally. Have them fight for the right reasons Hope's overprotectiveness and secrecy. Landon's feeling of inferiority and retaliation. Besides giving them more scenes together, give them more time a part. Have them interact with with friends (Lizzie, M.G., or Wade. I love the conversations Hope and Lizzie have together. We barley see Landon and M.G. interact since they have so much in common and M.G. killed Landon. Wade is character due to him and Landon being the only respective of their species. So there's lack of talk about that.) Friends help them talk about their flaws and actions in order to improve in the relationship or tell you when it's time to take a step back from each other. If its time to break so be it so they can dig deep and grow to be better characters. If they are spending time together as friends and growing more as characters that's perfect. If their interaction is liked right depending on the situation if they've moved on or finding their way to together as more stable couple so be it if you write it that way. Don't go repeating the same crack the legacies writers are doing. It's just dumb!!!!

I don’t think she’s starting to go evil I think we finally see the way she grieves. We saw it already a little bit with Hayley and her anger towards Elijah, but we never seen it with klaus death so I think we just see how she deals with death.

@@holychaos5398 Honestly, I am sick and tired of love triangles, it's like Julie Plec doesn't know how to write a love relationship unless there is a third person, or breaking up every 5 seconds. We've had more than enough love triangles in TVD/TO, but Legacies took it on a whole other level.

Appearently he will be back soon, but I don't think she will go back to "normal" right away. The trauma is too big to just move on from it. We will see. 😊

I didn't know Phoebe had a problem with Julie Plec, but I see your point and I've seen it for a while now - the show centers around Hope being Klaus's kid, which I guess is normal, because Klaus is one of TVD most popular characters - it will bring them more views. It doesn't make it right though. The only thing that would make sence is that Hope actually knows that her mom is okay and happy, but she knows nothing about her dad.
