In the book Henry is taller than Alex but the actors Taylor who plays Alex and Nicolas who plays Henry the heights are switched, so they play it up as a joke in the movie

@@user-ew3ii9rf8e yes, henry is more than 4 inches taller than alex in the book but obviously alex is still annoyed-even if it's true. from the moment alex goes to the wedding he gets petty about it, and even when they got together he'll still bring it up. for example, when they were at the lakehouse, henry says "i was looking for someone else. handsome, petulant, short, not pleasant until after ten a.m.? have you seen him?" and alex says "fuck off, five-nine is average."

alex is only 5’9” in the books and henry is 4 inches taller :)
