META Madness is a Heroes of the Storm tournament that breaks the mold of the current meta by introducing special rules to the tournament! In this event, Heroes that are picked during a map draft, are not allowed to be picked again during the entire match! Additionally the community voted to ban 10 Heroes for the entire duration of the tournament!

@Dieter Gaudlitz That's not exactly true. All three races have had their time in the sun where they've been completely dominant, and times when they've been near unrepresented in the ro16s and onwards of major tournaments.

Awesome finally. But Zarya was banned out in the first game. How come she was picked in the second?

Riles are different now, he explained it during the draft. Heroes that are PICKED are now banned globally. Heroes that are banned during the draft, still can be picked or banned in the next games, they still participate in the series. So only 10 heroes get global ban per match: 5 from both sides.

@@antonioarmijo7420 I can see at least 7 different counters to Pyroblast. Brightwing- polymorph, phase shift. Mal'ganis- carrion swarm. Jaina- Ice block. Zarya would just absorb it / help mitigate it on ally. Malthael can w through it if he's skilled enough.
