Came here from humble bundle.... This game is now free on humble bundle for a limited time if you are wondering... also, I really miss TB :( EDIT 12.7 - This game is no longer free on Humble bundle, BUT you can get it for FREE on steam till 15.7!
I miss this guy. So much. He was one of the original creators that got me into youtube. I loved his reviews.. commentary.. seeing this pop up for a game I had in my library but wanted to refresh my mind of.. I had to watching it. Miss you TB, it's good to hear your voice again after all this time. I hope that you're resting well. You're definitely in a better place than this crazy world right now, I know you'd be pulling your hair out at the state of gaming.
@@ctakitimu Are you that clueless? It should have taken a quick further glance at the comments to answer that. The man died of cancer. At least do some basic research next time before posting something so heartless.
The comments section is turned off, it has been for a number of months. Comments are on "Approval only" which means you can leave them, but only you can see them. That approval list never gets read. If you would like to leave a comment anyway to "yell at the TV", you are welcome to, just know that nobody will read it. If you'd like to discuss the video in more detail, check out the subreddit at www.reddit.com/r/cynicalbrit
Found this video by chance...man it hit..hard..I know no one would hear me here, but aren't prayers the same thing kinda? You just say things knowing well you won't get an answer. RIP TB...you will be missed, I hope the legacy you left won't be forgotten. I know I wont.
Every time I see a TB video randomly pop up it makes me sad. He was my favorite reviewer and I had been with him since the beginning... Miss ya TB hope your resting well
Never watched TB videos much, but this one introduced me to this game series which has meant a lot for me, when Planetfall came out I thought about TB and how much his coverage of AoW3 changed my gaming life, and now with AoW4 on the horizon, hyped about a game as I've barely been before, drew my mind back here and made me wonder what he might've thought of it, 8 years later on its improvements and ideas on the 4x.
I still come to watch his videos for anything he reviewed that I am interested in trying, his legacy of gaming reviews will ensure he lives on. Rest easy bro.
I saw this game when it was free-to-keep in 2019, and I was interested in it because it reminded me of another game I’d played around 15+ years ago. (That game ended up being Heroes 3, by the way.) It was very hard for me to get into, because I had basically no experience with strategy games up until that point. But watching through this video several times, and hearing his enthusiasm for the game, pushed me into wanting to learn it. And when I finally did, it turned out to be one of my favorites games of all time. Thank you, TB. Your videos continue to leave an impact to this day.
Just saw this game on sale, looked it up to find more about it, man did this slam me right in the face, hope your makin' waves up there like ya did down here brother, rest brother.
gets Age of wonders for free on steam, proceeds to type it in searchbar on ytube to see if there are some good vids explaning maybe showing armies, units classes etc. sees TB vid from 2014...wow my heart was not ready for this.
This was the best strategy channel on RU-vid, RIP. We're gonna all go someday, this will be a virtual cemetery, post here when I'm dead in 30-40 years.
Took some time but now I kinda smile bitterly but mostly with good feelings when I hear the intro. I think I got over it and instead just feel glad these videos exist and I can come to his videos from time to time, either for guidance in a game or for entertainment. phew.....yeah, yeah I got it out of my system, I used to always cry or get teary eyed, but now I'm accepting it, these things happen, and death isn't the end anyway.
looking into games similar to lords of magic, nice to see I can come back and listen to TB's beautiful voice. Man this this is a weird feeling having him talk about a dark time in video games... :(
Wanted to see if this game was any good because it has just be sitting in my library, didnt think id come across a TB video. RIP man, your legacy lives on!
Seems to be the case. Other than some handful of nasty people, most people seem to be respectful with regards to those that have passed. I think it's nice we can share our memories of the man.
