Miss MountainDew that’s the problem! We all know that the majority of Muslim girls are opposite of What Nadia is. We are happy by covering over selves, not having affairs, obeying our parents etc etc.. and then there is a minority of Muslims girls, who wants to live the western life, (revealing/dating/drinking/partying etc) but are not allowed to, just like Nadia! Now the problem is, western media only represents this minority, where muslim girls want to have western life, but are forced to be religious by there parents.. Media or Netflix never represent us, the majority of Muslim girls, who are happy covering themselves and loves their own uniqueness, and have no interest in adapting western cultures. Because of these misrepresentations, the world thinks that all Muslim girls are forced and oppressed, that they have no freedom.. which is absolutely wrong! We just don’t believe that adapting western traditions is what freedom is 😂😂 Anyways, I completely agree with your last statement, this character sana is the best and the only correct representation I have seen so far.

@@aemon9890 I can generally respect that sentiment but be aware that not covering the hair is not equal to partying and being promiscuous - neither in the Muslim nor the Non-Muslim population, that's a common but false myth (in case you were generalizing more than Nadia). Are you watching some Arabic TV series with Hijabis? Cause Syrian series are generally very well produced and Egypt series are often funny at least, maybe its time to promote those to a more western audience. But they have people with open hair in their series all the same often, so it'd be interesting if at least in that world you'd find the veiled characters you crave.
