This Delena crap is setting a bad example on how a relationship should be. It's like the manual for everything you shouldn't do. Yes, there is love and lust but those things don't make relationships work. Everyone in the show had said it, even Damon and Elena themselves, they are bad for each other. But Stelena had everything. Love, lust, trust, faith and all you need for a good relationship. I'm not saying what they had was perfect. But both of them were the best choices for each other. Everyone knows it. So why the hell, please do tell, are they still carrying out this Delena thing?

They had a beautiful relationship but unfortunately Julie ruined that because the majority of the fandom wanted Klaus and Caroline. Such a shame. ugh they had such an epic story together, and the chemistry between the two was EVERYTHING! everything sordid in regards to delena and damon aside, i just never felt that connection like i did with stefan and elena. it's pretty clear how the actors felt on the whole stelena vs delena argument.
Stelena has always been stronger, undeniable bond of true love.. But I have to say that I still like Damon as a character, but he is way more interesting without following Elena like a puppy.
Oh I like Damon and At the beginning I loved seeing Damon care about Elena but I have found that I have loved him caring and loving other characters; Katherine and Rose and of course the love for his brother and been intrigued to see him falling for someone like Bonnie but yes to the more interesting part. Maybe its because we like to see him as the sexy bad boy and he can only do so much being with Elena but I also think it's something else for me that I can't quite connect between the two.

I think the more I think about it, Damon is interesting because he is motivated & does the things he does because of Love. Even if its twisted. For instance Aaron he killed him because he was upset because Elena wouldn't take him back (love) it's twisted and wrong and that is why Elena wanted distance because he can't do shit like that. The question is will he ever learn? Or will he always be that react right now consequences be damned.
Anybody but Elena. Damon and Bonnie started out hating each other. If the writers had used a smidgen of creativity, they could have developed a relationship with these two. Stefan and Elena should have remained together.

great video, shows Stelenas most trying times. The angst, the emotions displayed beautifully by Nina and Paul, the best actors on the show...Stefan was faced with a tough decision in order to save his brothers life he had to give himself to Klaus which meant becoming someone who didnt want to be, the ripper. Walking away from Elena to save her life and knowing his asshole brother would make a move on his girl while he sacrificed himself. Compelled to turn off his emotions, his love for Elena still came thru...It really sucks to see a good guy like Stefan who always tries to do the right thing and make decisions based on selfless love, gets punished for it. the bad boys of the world are rewarded too much...just reinforces them into more bad behavior since it gets them what they want. thats a bad message to send to TVD younger viewers
I started to cry from 1:21-2:05 bcuz of what Stefan said to Elena those times! The season 2 scene was when Lexi was helping Stefan turn his humanity back on, the season 3 scene was when Stefan threatened Klaus that he would drive Elena off Wickery Bridge if he didn't stop making hybrids. The season 4 scene was when Elena told Stefan that Klaus compelled Jeremy to take the Gilbert ring off and step in the road to get hit by a car, but Alaric saved him. Stefan said it wasn't his problem, so Elena slapped him.
are the writers ok??? like in that one episode where rebekah keeps stefan, caroline, and elena trapped in the school, rebekah asks elena what she likes about damon and one of the things she said is that he makes her feel free... yet damon rarely lets her make her own decidions and just does whatever he wants whilst stefan respected her decidions whether he agreed with them or not... hmm yeah damon definately makes her feel free 😒😒
Stephan !!! He's human I think He's a vampire that is the closest to humanity. That makes elena fight for him till the end . Elena and Stephan have a connection that's also a friendship , he might distance himself now but elena calls him, so a epic love grow from a solid friendship and elena also has the same guilt even if she's a vampire now . They both compliment each other they are both trying to be happy and finding who they are like people often try decipher these questions or ideas :)

This is such an old comment but i agree. As much as I love Tyler, Jeremy and Elijah and think they deserved better Stefan is still my favorite. He can be the sweetest guy with a big heart but he's also intense and no pushover. A perfect combination imo.

I was a big Damon and Elena fan but after seeing this... I realised that they have both been through so much together, fought so much for each other... it would be a shame if in the end all that fighting led them to different people. So thank you, after this video, I am a believer of Stefan and Elena again- the reason I fell so madly in love with this show in the first place.

Even if I dont ship them anymore, I love this video and I love their relationship so much. I really loved them as a couple in the first seasons, but after Elena became a vampire she belonged to Damon. DE´s love grew over 4 seasons before they finally got together and their love is so different than SE´s. DE can´t live without each other, they need to be together to be truly happy and fullfilled. Yes, I know it´s a toxic relationship, but it´s so passionate and just amazing. But Stefans and Elenas love is epic and so is their story. Like Rose used to say Stefans love is pure and they will always be good for each other. I think just like Klaus said, their love for each other (no matter in which way) will never die. And that´s extactly what I love about SE. They love and care about each other no matter what happens and they always will... Holly, Stefan told Elena he loves her more than she told him. And the only reason in the video he didn't tell her he loved her is because he was trying to keep her safe from Klaus. Because klaus thought that Elena was dead. And the only way to do that was to say what he said to her. Everything's Stefan has done since he met Elena is to keep her safe and out of harm's way. Stefan did not have to tell Elena that he loves her she could see on in his face. But Elena had to constantly tell Stefan that she loves him to try and convince herself that she didn't have feelings for his brother. If you looking for someone to blame, blame Elena , Stefan was out there with Klaus trying to keep him away from Mystic Falls to keep Elena safe, Elena was in Mystic Falls kissing his brother and all Stefan was trying to do was keep safe.
Ohhh after all he's hurt her he's so terribly sorry and would spend his entire existance trying to make it up to her if she let him. After all they've been through, they deserve to be called truly epic. It was the chemistry between these two and the brilliance of their love that hooked me to this show, your video captured that perfectly.

Me too. The first time I saw TVD was in youtube with Damon and Elena vids. I was a fan of them but when I watch the episodes from Season 1-3, I realized, how epic the love of Stefan and Elena. I've been an avid fan of them since then in TVD and I hope they'll end up with each other.
The turning point for Stefan was the day he threatened to drive Elena off the bridge. Her reaction and the emotions he was feeling was what got to him. He stopped drinking HB that day. He stopped going headstrong after Klaus. It wasnt her telling him about the kiss...that was just another step towards his humanity because of the intensity of the emotion. Beautiful video.

My friend and I have watched this video so many times that we're able to say all of the lines in this video...like all of them in the correct order...we're kinda obsessed. I really hope Stefan and Elena get back together, they're meant for each other. If they don't I think my friend and I will just watch this video over and over again and cry... a lot.
