When Mal described the restaurant they went to as “being a place that was fancy 10 years ago” I couldn’t help but wonder if she actually meant it would’ve been fancy in 2014, or if she meant 2004 maybe even 1994. I know they’ve talked about this before, but I too sometimes get stuck at the 2010 or 2000 being the default year mindset so I thought about that way more then I should’ve I guess lol.

Didn't get any of the hurricane as I live in the UK. Also I've never been go-karting, not even as a kid since my parents were poor and couldn't afford to take me and my siblings to one.

Sorry, y'all, I have to side with #TeamRunning. It's cheaper and you can just get up and go. I also have done pre-hurricane runs when I lived in FL and can confirm, it's great. I don't have $500 shoes and I thrift most of my running clothes. At the same time though, you do have to replace your running shoes quite frequently, so that's an added cost that's not like a bike.
