It's always interesting hearing Hayley talk about Subnautica because my experience was so different from her's but for once I agree. Always have beacons! You will not find the cool thing again unless you put down a beacon. Also for my first and only main base I just put it right next to the non-floating island.
Idk if we'll ever get to the point in time that terrain manipulation in games works alright without tanking how *something* is supposed to work but Subnautica did have it for a while. They had to remove it because it was making file sizes STUPIDLY big and impossible to load though iirc? No surprise that it's a bit wonky in other games too, like No Man's Sky and it's terrain-regrowing abilities flooding bases with dirt.
Is there one that lets you send collected items to storage automatically or otherwise means you can just gather everything without having to worry about your personal inventory getting full?
@@GuyYouMetOnline the mode im talking about let you pull items from a set rang and us them for making items and build stuff. as long you have goods in storage.
