These are fun to build. Your stash of scraps is well rounded in colors. I especially liked your dark yardage that you just cut into different shapes. I first thought how is that going to work. I couldn't get how it would blend but it sure did. Your big block was awesome.
❤ love your videos and ideas. I especially like the crazy quilt block with the special stitches you used over the seams. I plan to use those ideas in the near future. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
IF the paper is perfect size, why not trim to that? Quilts are NEVER done till there is a good addition of cat fur. SWEET puddy )))) They confirm the good wishes of the makers get built into the quilt. Inventive combo of "static" block with free form crazy panels. I would have made the sashes a bright pink to pick out the tiny bits just for fun. )))
You are so right about the sweet kitties. Blaize must inspect every single one! As far as trimming to the paper size, I have found that stitching a large block will make the paper "shrink", so the size you start with might be different that the size you finish with. I would measure before you trim to the paper size if the measurement must be exact. Otherwise, yes, go for it!
Bonsoir Annette.
Great idea with the paper. I am not a quilter but, I love watching quilting videos. I kept thinking why not use paper, no continuous measurements. Great job. I love it.
