This is my POV: You are new at hogwarts and you were finding new friends hermione and harry came to your dorm and ask if you need any help you said yes they showed you where everything is when they showed you the quidditch Field you were kinda interested so you kept asking questions they told you when you want to know something about quidditch you better ask oliver wood hermione said so when it starts raining harry and hermione left in the gryffindor common room you said you will stay outside you bumped into oliver wood and you were kinda nervous maybe you had a little crush already but you ask him anyways if he can explain to you he said sure and after he all explained it you guys fell asleep on the empty quidditch field
I revised it for you so it's easier to read because I thought it was a good POV. POV: You're the first Hogwarts transfer student, and because you're so new, you didn't have any friends. Already, you'd been sorted into Gryffindor, but hadn't made friends with any other fifth years. As you begin on your journey to search for someone to befriend, you bump into two younger students, who you recognize as Hermione Granger and Harry Potter. They'd walked into your dorm to ask if you'd like a tour. You already knew the school fairly well, but you replied with 'yes' so you could spend time with the Golden Trio that you'd heard so much about. After walking you through the corridors to your classes, Hermione wondered out loud whether you wouldn't like to see the Quidditch pitch. Desperate for a few more minutes with them, you agreed to let them take you there, although it had been raining all day and still was. A few minutes had gone by and you finally reached the Quidditch field. It seemed interesting, so you continuously asked questions about the sport. Harry only let you know that he was on the team as the seeker, then Hermione dragged him away, nagging about studying or something. You couldn't really hear her over the crackling of the rain, only Harry's voice shouting at you. You could hardly make out was he was saying, but as you turned it over in your mind, you made sense of it. "If you'd like to know more about Quidditch, you'd best ask Oliver Wood. He's usually around the field somewhere." As they looked back at you, waved, and disappeared into the school, you turned your focus back to the field, only to see something move in the distance. "Oliver?" you cup your hands around your mouth so it carries farther. The figure, drenched in rain-soaked Gryffindor robes, mounted the broom he held and took off only around ten feet above the empty field. He came closer to you and you saw him clearly. "God," you thought. "He's handsome." Now standing only a few inches away from you, breathing heavily, the boy replied in a cute Scottish accent "Oliver Wood, Gryffindor Quidditch captain. And you are?" You trembled in the itchy downpour but managed to reply "Y/N Y/L/N. I'm new here and I don't really know too much about Quidditch, but I want to. I was told you were the person to talk to about that." He gave an excited grin, grabbed your hand, and lead you over to the center of the field. Oliver then began to explain to you the basic rules of the game, what each player does, and the functions of each type of ball. His eyes wandered to your sweater, gray with a maroon and gold tie. "Gryffindor, I see. Well, angel, if you ever want to try out for the team, Angelina's facing injuries from a bludger. Nasty little buggers, bludgers are. She was a chaser, you know." "I'd love to," you replied through chattering teeth, "but I don't even own a broomstick." "Here, take mine for a go, if you're any good, I'll see what I can do," Oliver smiled as you took his broomstick, accidentally touching his hand in the process. "Set it on the ground, and shout 'up' first of all. Mount it, and give it a go. Go on." You follow his instructions, and it wasn't hard at all. It was quite natural to you, actually. "Not bad, Y/L/N," Wood beamed. "We should have a one-on-one practice some time, and McGonagall will be hearing about, let's say, getting you a broomstick since your transfer was last minute." He winked. "We could have a one-on-one practice right now, if you'd like," you respond. He made a playful face, raising an eyebrow, tilting his head, and smiling all in one three-second motion. You took that as a yes. After around an hour had passed, you were drenched basically to the bone and so was he, but that didn't matter. Although Oliver was known to take Quidditch really seriously, he couldn't stop smiling. You thought he might even have been impressed, or maybe even perhaps more than impressed. You couldn't stop blushing and thinking about how handsome he looked, or how good he was at Quidditch. "Oliver?" "Y/n?" "Do you think we could take a bit of a break? I'm soaked, but I would love to join the team. Quidditch is the best thing I've known." "Yeah, of course." The two of you dived to the ground, skillfully hopping off of your brooms. "I booked the pitch for Gryffindor Quidditch practice tomorrow after classes, I think you should be there if you want to join the team," he stepped closer to you. "I'll be there." You tried to keep your cool, but you stepped a little closer, so close that you could feel his warm breath against your face. "Oliver," you breathed in a trance-like state. He leaned in for a kiss, but you pulled away. "I'm sorry, I-" "No, it's okay, really." Before you could process all that was happening, he sat on the rain-puddled field, patting the grass beside him as a motion for you to sit. You did, then you saw him lay back and you followed him, your sweaty hair colliding with the ground. Oliver whispered, "you can come a little closer, angel, don't be shy." "Yes, captain," you moved toward him a bit, your body against his, everything in that moment perfect. He smiled wide at what you called him and stared into your eyes longingly. "We can stay like this for a bit," his eyes darted to the darkening sky. "This is crazy, I just met you," you breathed. "Your parents ever tell you about love at first sight? Yeah. I never believed in it until I saw you," he admitted. You both stared at the clouds above you in silence for minutes, until he broke it, talking about Quidditch. You were nearly as passionate about the sport, so of course, you didn't mind. You wanted to learn. You and Oliver talked until it was too late to be outside anymore. Harry had come looking for you with his invisibility cloak, only to see you'd lost track of time with who, in only a few months' time, after a big Quidditch game against Slytherin, you'd call your fiancé.
I have never shifted before but my bestfriend has like 3 times and i really want to shift so imma try it at 12am maybe its like 23:17 rn so i will update anyone who is interested if i shifted or not 🙂wish me luck i really hope this works🙂🙂
Omg I totally forgot and YES I ACTUALLY DID!!!It was magical and I literally cried lol everyone was so confused and stuff but like remember believe and you can use your own method...I slept in a star position and I was hella tired...so advice fall asleep than wake up like 3 or 6 hours later and fall asleep again when your realllyyyyy tired and it might work
