It is a very beautiful winter day, we go out with Mario and Loly to travel the route of the 7 Lakes to the south, we find the frozen forest, it gives the feeling of being in Narnia, before reaching Villa La Angostura, we stop in the Inalco property, where it is said that after the Second World War Adolf Hitler lived there according to investigations and data collected by journalist and researcher Abel Basti, who lives in Bariloche and has published more than 10 books on this subject.
We continue to La Angostura where Carlos and Alejandra join and we will have lunch at the Puerto Seguro restaurant, in front of Mansa Bay and Brava Bay.
After a walk through the port, we visit the official residence of the government of the province of Neuquén "El Messidor", a small French-style castle, designed and built by the architect Alejandro Bustillo in 1942, being acquired by the province in 1964.
We also visit the Correntoso river, one of the shortest in the world, which connects the lake of the same name with the Nahuel Huapi.
On the way back to San Martín de los Andes, we stop for a drone tour of the Ñivinco waterfalls, one of the most visited sites on the 7 Lakes route.
We finish the afternoon having a few mates at Lake Machónico, where Mario has to make some water melting snow.
A fantastic winter day, with a subzero morning and a spring-like afternoon in the afternoon.
