☃️Buying NEW Winter Magical Horses! 

Hi Koko! I really enjoy your content buut as a person who collected the 18k snowflakes two days ago, i feel like i have the right to have a solid opinion on the Winter Village update and all of this stuff. So let’s start at the basics, the first thing you see when you go to the Winter Village are the really dull colors + the purple filter, and actually i find that to be a really cool concept! It really does set the mood to be “drastic” or something like that. In any case, even though i love the concept i feel like they forgot about people with vision problems, it really isn’t good for them to stay in there for too long or else their eyes/brains will explode, the issue apparently is because of the purple filter, and as i don’t have major vision problems i’m not in the right to say much else, i just heard some people with vision problems talk about this, and i just feel bad so i wanted to mention this too as not many people are aware of this. Of course i don’t expect SSO to be educated in that spectrum, but i just feel like it would be nice, even for players without vision problems to have the option to turn off the purple filter, because i did see people without vision problems complaining about it as well. Next about the argument “Hollow Woods good, Winter Village bad, even though they have no major difference!” I disagree. First, the snowflakes are way much more spread out than light in Hollow Woods. When you’re searching for light you can easily see like 5 or 6 just chilling right there, with snowflakes it is way different, when you’re searching for them you see 1 or 2 in an area, and when you get lucky you get max. 5. I just find that to be ridiculous. They have a way smaller hitbox, when light automatically comes to you as if you were a magnet if you get close enough. There were so many times when i had to stop, turn around and then get the single snowflake. With light there are no issues such as i previously stated. Second, there are way too little ways to get snowflakes. In Hollow Woods you have Rune Carving + 2 different ways to get light, and it isn’t a once a day thing. In the Winter Village you have snow piles, which bug out frequently due to the changes in terrain and basically go in the walls, the floor and in the air when you can’t or struggle to catch them. They give only 5 snowflakes, but due to the issues i stated earlier that can decrease to 1 or 2. Next we have Alex and the chainsaw stuff. 100 snowflakes once a day. We have to collect 18k. 100 snowflakes a day. Great. Now since the new update has come out you can say “Oh but they added more stuff that gets you snowflakes! Shush you ungrateful child!”. I don’t know whether it’s just a me issue but the Gnome guys are bugged. They don’t follow me, just run in place. Even if i touch them all, none of the pop-ups say they’re lost and go to the gnome resting place or whatever and click on everything i see, it doesn’t work. And the wild magical horse picture taking things? They work fine for me, i don’t know how much they give but from what i’ve seen it’s 20 snowflakes per photo. I don’t know their spawn rate but i’d assume 3 per hour. So 60 snowflakes per hour. Which is great in my opinion. But i don’t know their spawn rate so i might be wrong. And i’m talking about that they may spawn less than i anticipate. I genuinely hope not. So uh as you can see it isn’t really fun collecting stuff in the Winter Village when you encounter bug after bug. In any case, now about the argument “But during winter break you can collect them!”. Not many people have that as an option. For some people the days before the winter break are full of exams and stress, and you think that after being burnt out they want to be pissed at a pixel horse game? I’m not saying that they most definitely won’t find it relaxing (i truly hope they will, just to cool down after the school stuff) but looking at people’s response, most of them aren’t looking forward to visiting the Winter Village. And some people will travel during the winter break, so they won’t have access to SSO or it will, make it harder for them to connect, not even talking about playing. And some people will want to spend time with their family, and not grinding in a silly horse game. Ergo, i feel like 18k is too much. In my opinion it should be 10k max. I feel like SSO just saw how pleased people were with the Hollow Woods update and decided to copy a worse version of it to the Winter Village. And i’m saying this a person who LOVES grinding. I do feel stressed out when it’s a limited time event though, as many others do. Now you said that you can get 1000 snowflakes for an hour of gameplay, 18k? 18 hours? Alright maybe not really because Alex exists so maybe 17 hours and 45 minutes. That still doesn’t sound very good. Even when people will do an hour for 17/18 days i still feel like that’s kind of, you know, not very nice. I dunno that’s just my opinion. Ah and i almost forgot to mention that the rewards, are shit, let’s be honest here. I love the tack set! But the other rewards? They don’t make me want to participate in snowflake collecting (Even though i already finished it lol, but i didn’t finish it with the rewards in mind, i’m just a completionist). I don’t expect them to be out of this world, but many of them are disappointing. And that’s quite sad to see, like wouldn’t SSO want to encourage people to play their game? I feel like it’s weird for the rewards to be so crappy. But many people will have different opinions so, i hope i shed some light on some situations. And please, don’t take this as a hate comment, Koko. I genuinely love your content, and i am always interested in hearing you out. I apologise if i made any grammar errors, i’m not from a country that uses English as its main language. Also if you would like to point out my mistakes in any of my points, please do.
