what a great list!! so many great entries on here, and ones that I hadn't thought about as wintery picks!!! what a beautiful way to look at Spiritfarer (or really any game similar to it) as a game to play in the start of winter; it's such a thoughtful game, and the characters really feel like they come from lived experiences, so I feel like it's a perfect game for taking stock and using as inspiration to set some intentions. I love that so much!! Florence too, for that matter!! I think the inclusion of all these games that are about growth, experiences, and endings; (and therefore, about new beginnings), is so poignant and brilliant for the end of this year and the start of the new year, and honestly for thinking of winter in those terms for the purpose of a list like this. I think that's beautiful, and I'm gonna have to play one of these games this winter now!! 💖 thank you, also, for reminding me that I need to play Station to Station ASAP hahaha, because that game looks perfect for holing up on a cold day and playing for hours!! I bought coffee talk and spiritfarer months ago on sale with the intention of playing them this winter (same brain cell). I just started coffee talk a few days ago and I love how mellow and easy it is, it reminds me of legends and lattes! I’m really looking forward to spiritfarer it’s been a rough year and I know imma be in my feels this winter and I think spiritfarer will be a great outlet and guide on those dark winter days. I’ve also heard a lot about Florence but this video definitely convinced me to finally add it to my wishlist! Thank you for such a cozy video the vibes are truly immaculate 👌🏻
