Incredibly good bang for your buck
Video side-by-side comparison with what Costco sells.
Both are brand new batteries.
You'll see Amazon has the slight edge in terms of the power you get when it's under load.
Also considering that Amazon is much cheaper.

Initial voltages mean little. The two most important properties of a battery are 1) How long it lasts under a known load 2) How much it costs per Watt-hour or milliampere-hour This a simplified statement. There are many factors that should be spelt out to make a meaningful comparison.

The initial voltage doesn't say much about capacity, and only testing one sample of each? How old were they? How long will they last in device under different loads? With a little more testing with more samples of each. As well as less camera shake, this might have been a worthwhile video, right now I just feel like I wasted my time.. 🤷🏼‍♂

I have a number of devices that use AAAA (4A) batteries and have been using 9V guts which contained six till now. My last batch of Duracell and Eveready had stack cells like the older carbon zinc cells. These had near identical machine marks and made in Malasia. Are these counterfeit or is the same assembly line being based for both brands?? And now I need a source for 4A bateries.

How reliable is Amazonbasic 9v battery? I use Energizer 9v instead of Duracell, because I had experienced leakage and bulging with Duracell.

A condencer mic draws almost no current, most alkiline batterys last up to 500 hrs. in some mics. A incondencent light bulb would be better

how about a lm317 and a resistor for a constanto current source? i'd say its better and can easily sink 5-25mA no problem which is what you should use for a 9v battery

Mine lasted my smoke detector from December 2018 to November 2021 ( nearly 3 years) it was goo until March 2020 it in November 2021

If you are here looking to see which battery to get for your smoke alarm, get a lithium which may last up to 6 years. (I got this from digging through the comments).
