what if you start calculating miles mid year and don't know your vehicles beginning mileage at the start of the year to base it off of?

Glad you did this video. I know it is a few years old and I know we can edit the start/end location BUT BUT BUT my work causes me to travel, let's say, to Kent to inspect 4 locations but it only shows Kent =but what I need to do is break it down between locations. I do not see a stop button and restart so that I can further categories my drives. Ideas?

This app is now owned by Microsoft, which I find amazing. I used it only for a few days because it doesn't calculate properly. I added in my destination addresses and even named them since they were frequent drives. For two days I was pleased, but thereafter, MileIQ overrode my addresses with other places and put business names that I hadn't even been to. One drive, the last one that raised the red flag, tallied 247 miles for a two mile trip to previously entered addresses. When I contacted the company, they stated the program uses "aerial miles" and will override my entries with other close business names and addresses. WTH?! I am a Notary Public and having inaccurate records and reporting just won't work for me or this business. Bottom line, it does not work properly and will cause you more work editing, so what help is that?

Can widthraw money.?

After using this app for a year I found that it recorded FEWER miles that Uber and Lyft for which I was using the app for. I always had the phone with me while doing uber and lyft and it missed more than 5000 miles. While Lyft and Uber reported my miles as 16k MileIQ only report my miles as 11k. This actually should be the EXACT OPPOSITE, the mileage I used was much more than the Uber and Lyft mileage. MileIQ is an absolute rip off, dont use it.

I don't see that it's tied to the odometer and therefore wouldn't be sufficient for an IRS audit.
