Thanks man! Great review & thank you for doing it in English. Much appreciated! I caught sepsis 7 years ago & lost my legs just below my knees. I thought I'd never ride a bike again. Because even the last scooter I rode had a brake pedal. I drive a car modified with hand controls because I can't use pedals. Anyway, my son just showed me these high performance scooters with no pedals!!!😃 That simple combo of a CVT box & brakes on the bars makes 2 wheels a possibility again! And these things look FUN! Time update my car licence. Not sure how that works in the UK at the moment. More research needed. Thanks again for showing me this machine so thoroughly & transmitting how much fun you were having. Good stuff! 👍😃☮️
Hi, thx for watching my video. I am glad this kind of bikes are suitable for your needs. Ths for sharing your story. There are also the Cam Am, 3 wheels bikes that my be good for you. The main thing is keeping your spirit positive and finding a solution, never give up. Good luck and Ride Safe
Yes, the price is high but you practically get a motorcycle and a scooter in one vehicle. I had the "old" DX (2018) and drove it from Berlin to Verona in one day (1200km). No problems, lots of fun in the Alps and a really impressive package...
@@minusjenta Not so bad with some breaks for fuel and cigarettes. Now I have the new Techmax and have been spend 4.000km on it. Quit better than the old one but not a huge difference. But to be honest: If I go to a long trip I take my MV Agusta Turismo Veloce...
@@nobik66 Okey then. Fair enough. I did some reading on the internet and i see that it is possible to change the seat for optimal comfort. I will also get gel shorts and maybe a extra gel seat when driving 4-5 hours. I am currently on a Aerox 155 and after 2,5 - 3 hours my ass is in huge pain. I am to stubborn to stop tho, but i guess a better seat and a gel short will do the trick for longer drives. I live in Cebu, Philippines and if you wanna go north or south from the heart of Cebu it takes around 3,5 - 5 hours to get either way. Anyways, looking forward to getting my Tmax Techmax 2020. But it will take some time saving that money up tho.
Congratulations I’m happy for you, How is the fuel consumption how many km you drive with full thank is it economic efficienct. My r1200 gs lc 2014 driving 1:15
The Tmax is a fine machine. Maxi scooters are designed for touring. Providing they have a good size engine (at least 500 in my view) they'll all do the job. The bike needs to have a comfortable seat, plenty of grunt so it can keep up with the cruisers, sports bikes and tourers on the open road and a decent screen that is electrically adjustable so it can be done while riding. I have Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive that does all these things. Onboard storage is good but I think a top box is always a good addition. I'm sure the Yammie is capable of doing all those things as well. Enjoy your ride and thanks for the review.
Very nice review and covered most, if not all aspects of this maxi scooter. And thank u for making the review in English. Thumbs up! 👍👍anyways, most will argue the price is darn steep, but you're paying for its technology and comfort people! If u can afford it, good for u. If u can't, then get a ride that's within ur budget. Whatever it is, be safe on the roads people! 🤗
Your review of the Yamaha TMax is the best. You talked about pretty much everything. I'm trying to find out if the TMax is available in the United States. I'll buy one if it is. I love the gold wheels.
Love this review. I have a Kwak J125 and I was looking at getting a Benelli 502C,,, but I love scoots . This just ticks the boxes for me as I use mine for commuting and occasional touring ( when I get the chance in Covid UK )
hi david, thx for watching my review. a scooter is way better then traditional bike for everyday commute. this one is just a bit more expensive them the 502c :) regard
Excellent review. If you have a choice between Yamaha Tmax 560 and Kawasaki Versys 650 which one would you get? I'm debating between the two right now, I do mostly city riding.
Hi go for the tmax, a scooter is always better and more confy to ride in the city. Why not the suzuki TL? Very similar to tmax but lower price. This is my honest opinion. Regards
hi, the burgman is the top scooter to have, there is no discussion about that. why you need 138mph on a scooter? they are made to enjoy the view :) regards
I wish I could have bought this bike but didn't have money at the time. I just found a second hand tmax dx for 11.500 euro and only 3500 km. Best in can get as I don't like new 2022 model. Is it very similar to 2019 Dx model do you know?
shorter passenger seat is NOT more comfy; ! The battery is still up front ; un-accessable-easily ? i recall the early 2005 model when it was in the rear and so easy to get to !!
hi, there are lots of new thing on the tmax like engine, design and more you can see on their website. This is not a old vs new comparasion video. regards
Can you teach me how to reset the Trip meter 1 and 2. For your dislplay what setting did you used? When changing from Tour to Sport mode, do I have to stop the Tmax? For your handphone holder, what model did you used? Thanks.
hi julia, sorry i dont recall everything about this scooter. i just had it for couple os days. for changin modes you only need to reduce speed. no need to stop. regards
@@SpitfirePT Thanks for the response, I've got a Givi screen with an American 'Laminar lip' and home made legshields on mine. Will probably have to keep both the DN and the Mk 1 Tmax for now.
Has anyone had a aprilia srv 850. And rode this tmax? What one you thinks the better bike. My srv is pretty damm quick. But i quite like the newer technologies. Any thoughts???
Do you think its much easier to touch floor with this bike compared to TMAX530? On TMAX it is tip toe for me. Is this seat better than 530TMAX which seems hard?
@@SpitfirePT what are your thoughts on BMW C400GT vs TMAX Tech Max in a mainly city environment with a short steep motorway 80k section on a daily commute? Obviously the C400GT has less power but could it overtake up a motorway hill? I’ve only ridden 1000CC plus bikes but they are wasted in this environment and am considering swapping to a scoot
