Welcome!
This trip takes us from Biel through Sonceboz-Sombeval to Moutier, a scenic route, which served as a mainline until the opening of the Grenchenberg tunnel, which offers a more direct connection to Moutier.
We are travelling with an NPZ (Neuer Pendelzug, translated: New push pull composition), a series of trains which were introduced in 1984. About 120 have been refurbished and renamed Domino, with 5 of the type RBDe 562 remaining in their original form. The remaining units are equipped with french safety equipement, which was originally installed for use between Basel and Mulhouse. They are destined to be taken out of service in December 2019, which sparked my interest in making this video.

What a delightful branch. I always find it very interesting how even on single track rural branches, you'll find sizeable industrial facilities with quite extensive sidings like the cement works at 9:05. The Swiss do seem to make a speciality of factories popping up where you least expect them.

magnifique trajet que j'ai fait il y à 1 semaine par l'autoroute ( Bienne / Porrentruy ) en revenant de Haute Savoie.J'ai pu passer 3 jours dans votre superbe Pays ( Tessin / lac de Neuchâtel ) cette vidéo arrive à point ! la réalisation de la vidéo est parfaite ! un salut depuis la France ( 62 ) A 25:06 , nous passons exactement devant l'ex maison de mes grand - parents maternels .( nostalgie !!!!!! ) la prise de vue extérieure est excellente !

I'm gradually catching up with videos that I have missed. This is a charming route and I hope it continues to be used even though the alternative through Grenchen is quicker.

It will be. The tunnel between Oberdorf & Cremines on a previous route however (Weissensteintunnel) is a little less certain.

For sure the route is very scenery and picturesque. I enjoyed watching this video and I love it! I like the cab view from the front because it gives me 180 degrees view. From the front I can see the mountain peeks and I enjoy that very much. I will admit to you, watching the side of the road (the backward view) gave me an occasional dizziness! It also deprived me the fixation on an object in front me. Nonetheless, it is a great video and THANK YOU very much.

Приятно смотреть Ваше видео и особенно приятно смотреть на порядочных пассажиров,на 1:14:05 парень подождал пока все выйдут,а потом сам вошёл в вагон,в России как только открылись двери наши пассажиры вломились бы в двери и не обращали внимание на то,что люди приготовились к выходу.

Evenings golden light. Like the small views backwards but not the whole route. Has strange effect when train stops. My brain thinks I am still moving. Would prefer return journey cab view.

It informs the driver of an upcoming stop on the line (as opposed to a staion which has its own entry and exit signals.

Hallo. Führerstandsmitfahrten werden in der Regel vorne mit Sicht auf die Strecke aufgenommen und nicht von der Seite nach hinten.

Die ganze Strecke ist von vorne abgebildet. Die zweite hälfte ist nur da für diejenigen es intressiert, nochmal der gleiche Weg mit einem anderen Blickwinkel zu sehen.
