Colin Weston was the voice of my television. As much as I enjoy my fancy plasma screen, it doesn't wish me a good night like the old one did. Sigh.

and to think... we had UTV advising keyholders to check their premises at closedown...

Does anybody remember the period where Granada had different pieces of music for different nights when closing down? If anyone remembers these there is one particular one I've been trying to track down....I think it was called ''For you my love'' if not that I think this was the chorus or theme of the song , by a lady called Annie or Amy. Not much help I know but any help would be welcome .
