I have never grown anything in my Life but I followed this tutorial (including the eclair box) and I am now officially a chilli plant grower thanks alot
Hey. I am a new comer but absolutely loving your videos. You've encouraged me to start my growing journey at home with my two sons 10 and 18months old. Your videos are absolutely fool proof. We are so extremely grateful for your wonderful work 🙏
Thank you for doing what you do. This is the beginning of recovery therapy for me, and I couldnt be more pumped to grow everything with the help of yoir videos. Thank you and god bless
I would recommend drying the seeds out longer, up to 1-2 days depending on how hot it is. Also try drying them out on a piece of kitchen paper, it the moisture is absorbed by this better than a plate. Mine germinated in 6 days after doing this.
Collecting seeds from our own grown plants is so helpful. It gives us plants that grow wonderfully, after a few years, as they become accustomed to growing where we plant them. Thanks for this video. Have a great today! Catherine
i collected maybe thousand chocolate morugas last year and managed to overwinter 13 peppers, they look like it's summer and i still don't understand how i made them so big and that moruga is 3rd year now and she is almost 160cm big,i will try to record some video finally and upload it on my chanel...and besides chilli today i opened my old suitcase full od seeds that i collected during 6 years of changing situations ,but nature never, bless
Great vid. Attempting to grow chilis from seed for the first time this year and these tips are useful. Also, impressed with the modification ingenuity of some of the pots/watering bottle etc you have been demonstrating. Keeping costs down and recycling the plastic too. Nice work!
I started growing some chili plants in February. They are doing great and their almost done ripening. It would have been nice if I found this video when I started growing them lol. The thing is I got the seeds from my grandfather's chili plant. I literally just took a chili, ripped it open, and let the seeds dry for 2 hours, and put them in a cup to grow. I watered them everyday and when they started sprouting, I was excited. I was even more excited a few months later when I saw flowers began to sprout. I realized from that moment I inherited a green thumb from both my grandfathers since they were both farmers from Mexico.
Great vid. I did the same myself from Chilli seeds from peppers I bought from my local supermarket! I sowed them in January and they are flowering away now and fruits are developing nicely! I would recommend it to anyone, its fun and free!
Great vid 👍... A suggestion, if you have a ripened banana cut it in to discs around 5mm thick (skin included) and push in around 4 or 5 seeds equally spaced then plant your seed discs in potting soil as normal....as the banana decomposes it acts like a natural fertiliser and also keeps the seeds moist.
Great job, I've learned alot from you. I like that you keep your camera work simple. Your style is informative and knowledgeable. I studying homesteaders to get my channel off the ground. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for using simple things because I dont have a garden and just a small space where I can grow by the window. I will try now with some seeds I kept.
Nice vid. Been living in the Caribbean for years. Definitely this is the best method for a better germination percentage. Temp is very important as well should always be no less than 70f for hot pepper plants. Sun is a huge +
On my second year of growing hot peppers from seeds. You tube was a big help but there are soooo many videos of using specific soil mixes and buy this buy that. Love this vid that you made it simple and to the point. Thanks man!
Hope you are doing well and healthy mate! I always migrate back to you cause you have the best advice on YT.....you do all the stuff I am doing out here in the Az desert! .....thx
In my opinion, really, you should have at least a billion subscribers. I mean, why cant you have them, all people have to eat, right? Thank you for doing this video. God Bless you and may you and your entire family and your viewers will have a great health and over abundance of blessings and Graces. Thank you.

I have been looking for this step by step growing for months Thank you for making me bright You have awesome video Mine not getting taller Even some of them die Not as healthy as yours Awesome
My Chilli passion got me onto your vid, currently germinating Cayenne & Fresno. These are from seed I save every year, also Golden Cayenne, new this year. I make chilli sauce with garlic I grow also. We read from the same page re recycling & DIY Lee so your garden shed vid is a belter. I made my conservatory from reclaimed materials, very rewarding. Love the family connections, my littluns are up n coming gardeners & very willing helpers. Joined facebook & subscribed. See you along the way.
Thanks for this video, I've just planted 5 siling labuyo and 5 jalapeños in a plastic egg tray. I didn't have any compost so had to use soil from our garden. Wish me luck!
Hopefully it's a clear plastic (1) and not polystyrene (6)? They should germinate using garden soil but they will need some proper nutrients and compost as they get older. Good luck :)
Looks like I'll go out to the supermarket, and get some pastries. [container] Then cruise the produce for my favorite peppers. Thanks for the concise informative video.
Just wanted to say how incredibly clear, concise and helpful your video here was. I see lots more that I'm anxious to watch. One thing - introduce yourself so we can ask you questions directly! Looking forward to your other videos, especially about chilies. Cheers from Florida, where I'm harvesting all sorts... - Chef Rocco
Great easy to understand video.I've got some Carolina reaper, white fatalli,7 pod and aji lemon drop seeds.I'm looking to make a supply of my own sauces
I tried the melon growing tutorial you did and it worked great. So much fun I can't wait to give this a go too! Thanks for all the help and inspiration 🌱🌱🌱
What a great video! Thankyou! I actually purchased some seeds... still not quite a week since I planted them (but almost!) and the seeds haven't yet germinated! I planted five jlapeno's a few months ago... still no peppers, but plants look healthy!! Hopefully they will! Thanks again and good luck to all!!
Thank you so much for sharing. I'm gonna try this today. Hopefully it would be not hard since I'm living in a warm weather country. It's calming to watch your videos. Keep up the good work. I'm a new subscriber!!!
You can also soak the seeds using regular water for 2 to 8 hours after 2 to 8 hours use the seeds that have sunk to the bottom (dont use the floating seeds) and put it in the soil and water the soil till its most. It works i tried it, you just need patience.
Would you recommend putting them in a pot and putting a plastic bag held with an elastic bag over to keep the moisture in. Also I mixed in tea into the soil. This worked with tomato plants.
Just looking into tips/next steps as I got a grow chilli peppers from seed kit for my birthday in July and they’re currently loads of little stalks! Anyway came across your vid and after looking at a few other vids you’ve got yourself a new subscriber. 🌶 🌱 👍🏻
Enjoying your video's..I use a lot of chillies too. I'm in Ireland so its a challenge with the weather. Tip from a chef squirt lemon juice on your hands to neutralise the chilli..yes I've wiped it in my eye before lol. Keep up the great work..cheers
I'm SO happy. I have a bunch of chili plants. It's weird they haven't got very tall and started flowering very early. And now I have a bunch of green peppers throughout them! Will they turn red or do I harvest when green. No clue when I should harvest. Thanks
Hi Lee! Love your videos! Thank you for your inspiration. I'll give it another try; I seem to have all green thumbs. Now there's hope on the horizon again. You make it look so simple! 🌷🍀🙏🌟
I love all your knowledge and all the help you have given me. Love watching your videos. Very informative. The accents a plus lol. Thanks and keep it going. Hey is there anyone you could do one on lettuce or nutmeg
Well I must say I was a bit sceptical about this however I tried it and done it as you did two weeks ago and the seeds are all through absolutely fantastic ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏴
I love chilli's especially hot ones an always wondered if you could grow them from scratch using seeds from shop bought chillies, I'm going to try this be exciting to see if it works, great video an info cheers 👍🏴
I don't usually keep my plants but I left 4 and they've all started to grow new leaves. It'[s still really cold here though so i'm not sure how long they will take to fruit
that big mystery chilly is almost certainly a holland hot finger. only very few seeds, and a nice sweet and fruity flavour with a nice medium heat. one of my favorites to grow. they make for great chilly powder, or fermented hot sauce. (if you havent yet, that is SO worth it
I got an old Thai chili seed to sprout thay was sitting in a cold fridge for months lol I was not expecting it. I'm scrambling to learn how to care for a seedling now lol.
Brilliant I’ve just started growing chillis and my first 2 has just pop up -am happy😂🥰they in a flat tray in my hot water tan cubdoard. Also got lemons and cherries an apricot seeds nothing on them yet 😥
