I was fascinated looking at pictures of her hair from from the 60s and 70s when I was kid! And my mom always made out like making her beehive hair-do was so hard!! lol!!

This hairstyle is fantastic! Just the hairdo I needed for a classic, straight-up-and-down 60's dress I have!

I have a wedding reception next week and this would be perfect with my dress...very vintage, beautiful, thanks.

Then I saw how perfect all the pieces wrapped around it and how solid it stayed and my hair is so soft and doesnt stay still so now I am set on this! I will be doing this for xmas.

I only just decided to grow it out about 2 inches/4ish months ago! LOL I might aim for knee length. :)

This is really cute! Any suggestions on how to achieve this with *really* long hair? Mine is classic length (ie at the bottom of my butt). Would wrapping extra times look wrong? I think I'd start with the BIG sockbun form. Maybe there's another technique to use that would eat up some of the length.... Thanks for any tips you can come up with!
