I know what he said in season 4 "I want to see you in 10 years" which means he's not interested in her right now. Now Mineta is 16, Eri is 7. Ten years later Mineta will be 26 and Eri 17. That's acceptable in Japan, even in my opinion it's alright. We all should remember this line was wrote as a joke and we shouldn't take it so seriously. Probably Horikoshi thought "I want to see you in 11/12 years" doesn't sound that funny. Mineta is not a pedophilie, look how he acts around girls his age or older VS how he treats Eri. Big difference. He never touched her in certain ways or acted weird. I think if this same thing was said by Kaminari (who is like Mineta but hotter) nobody would care. YES, I'm defending Mineta 'cause a) I feel like hating him is some sort of trend b) I like him, he's funny and unique And we also should remember MINETA NEVER KNEW ERI'S AGE 🤦♀️
