We got a Miniature Australian Shepherd! We drove two hours to pick up our new little puppy, Monty. He is a red tri and 8 weeks old. This video shows what to bring on the drive to pick up your puppy, Monty's first two days home + his first vet visit. You can put a clock that ticks in his crate. It’ll remind him of his moms heartbeat. At least that’s what my mom used to do to our puppy when I was younger.

I got my standard Aussie blue Merle in April and I LOVE her. There will be some bumps in the road (atleast for me) but enjoy your soooo cute pup. 🐶💕

I want one sooo much. My son has the standard size and I am in love with him. I love the size you have cuz Milo tries so hard to sit on me and I end up sore. Lol I am just afraid that as a school counselor my dog would be alone for too long. My son and his fiancé are able to leave work at lunch to spend time with him which I would not be able to do. Love ur puppy. They r the sweetest ever!

We just got a red tri just like him but ours was the runt of the litter he has green eyes as well...there so good and train so easily especially while there puppies they pick up on things super fast!...there such perfect dogs I love them Aussie pups the way to go 100%...all dogs are good pets but something special about the Aussie Shepherd

I’m getting an Aussie soon and I can’t wait I love this breed and by the way be careful with tennis balls that have that clothy material on them because they can’t really digest it if they tear it up and accidentally eat some (or purposely eat toys like my dogs do lol) ♥️

@@allison7368 Not yet, but I have been watching her videos for YEARS preparing for getting an aussie. She is soooooo amazing that it can't be put into words. And I also lovveeeee ceasar millan but I find Rachel's videos a bit easier to get a lesson out of. So yes I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HER❤🐶❤

I will just say, Australian shepherds need a lot of exercise as they are working dogs. They don't suit apartment living, they need lots of outdoors/garden space but he is very cute

@@delicatelyy1646 for almost 2 weeks he didn't bark ( or didn't know how ). For night he was just crying and peeing and hitting the cage/X-Pen. Now after a month and half he sleeps through the night until 6-7 am

Yes I have most of the products tagged in Monty's photos on his insta (now and going forward for future products!) his bed is "Bowser's Bed" I bought it at Goodboy Collective, his leash is from Good Boy Collective as well and it's their in-house brand in the Olive colour/thinner size! As cute as the puppy is there is no such thing as pure bred mini aussie. It's mix with a small breed dog in order to create the 'smaller' size dog. Aussie only come in one size. And that's standard.
