They don't even mention Serena in the flash back of Pokemon Camp… She didn't have a special episode neither. They erase her, they don't want to bring her back. They want a total new show, again, like they did in Alola. And i don't want to see interactions between Ash and Serena if they just do childish behavior. But it's only my idea, not a fact.

I mean, how would you introduce Ash’s Johto pokemon (for example) to the new viewers when even I don’t remember them that well (compared to his Kanto Charizard that was brought back time and time again)?

we have seen normal schools in the anime before but im guessing schools in Pokemon are there to well learn about the world and get an actual Job..im guessing as a Trainer you have alot less success if you want to get a Job

@Futurehopes1970 Well, in the Anime, we never see Trainers getting Money, and on a side note, people who counted wha a Trainer in the Games actually has to spend and gain were shocked to see it's a really bad Job when it comes to Money. BUT EVEN ASIDE ALL THAT it's still amazing that, after Years of it being a Joke, it was just casually Revealed - and no one seems to actually care. Yes, there are 'normal' Schools and Ash should actually attain them, but he just isnt. WOW. I find that very... i don't even know how i find this... but i definetly find this something...

sorry for the late reply! But now I FINALLY have some time to properly respond, so ....*inhales deeply* I honestly never believed that this quick friendship was a hasty writing choice. and I'm glad that the anime showcased that the both of them can't get along immidiately and that there is some sort of conflict between them. I just didn't expect them to dive so deep into morality and *principal of survival* .....I mean Pokemon's main target is still kids so I was positively surprised that they went that route. Also I do believe that there will be more since even though Gou understands ash#s way, his way also has some validity and is also based on real life reasearch. and I do believe that we will return to that idea as soon as the anime will tackle his past especially in regards of his past relationships. btw what also bugged me all the time is this: if Gou made some rather negative experience with making friends...but what does that statement say about Koharu? isn't she his childhood friend? he still had a friend in her....unless he doesn't really see her as a friend :O So do I! and I'm really looking forward for some more worldbuilding as soon as we arrive in the Galar Region! idk what it is but bw Team Rocket was so cool to watch and I kinda hoped that they will be similar. but on the other hand I saw many people in my comments who prefer good balance of cool and funny when it comes to TR and many pointed out that their fave version of the Trio was either DP or XY. ^^ Furthermore: no need to worry: most of TR pokemon are also pokemon who are quite marketable and can be used for merch (most recently Mimikyu) so there will be some special pokemon for the Trio for sure! (PS: James NEEDS GALARIAN WEEZING! xD) I mean I would like to see team rocket on a rarer occasion....and if not then I would like to see Giovanni being more involved with not only the Trio, but also with Ash. god I still remember when Ash faced Giovanni during the meloetta arc in bw ...I honesty fanboyed like crazy! xD and since giovanni seems to really support the trio I hope he gets more involved in the anime so all in all ther e really is A LOT of things you can interpret from only 3 episodes! xD I'm really looking forward to Galar and even though it seems like we're going to visit Sinnoh and Hoenn soon (this month) I believe that it's a journey where they will enter every region many times throughout the entirety of the anime or else they wouldn't have made the *ALL REGION IN ONE ANIME* the main theme of the anime ^^

After only 3 episodes, Pretty much everything I say is more assumption than conclusion - maybe I should give the writers a bit more credit ^^' And yes, taking on a complicated topic like that was a surprise, but a very positive one. It doesn't only underline the interesting research-thematic apporach they seem to be going for this time, but could also indicate that they take their audience more seriously. I hate the argument "It's for kids" when you point out weaknesses in animated series, because it implies that you can just show young people any kind of crap - god beware they'd be confronted with new ideas and start asking questions, or even thinking by themselves! But I do hope you're right that this conflict will come up again, and isn't brushed away just because "Ash is awesome" He's pretty cool, but that doesn't invalid Gou's point of view. In regards to Gou and Koharu, it might have a lot to do with Gou's view on Friendship, which is obviously not something "normal" to him, but something that takes more effort to even take the first steps for. So maybe Koharu, who seems to more or less have been with him since the early days, and since is "normal" to him, doesn't seem like a friend in his eyes ... maybe there are even more sibling-like feelings in play from any of their side. Also, based on how Gou got interested in Ash because of his excitement for Pokemon, maybe that's what he wants in a friend - but Koharu, while she likes her (or her father's?) Wanpachi, didn't show that general interested so far. Another, not fully unrelated interpretation, is that Koharu might be part of his negative experiences - I don't really believe that, because then his reaction would have been different, when he offered her to have breakfast together, which she declined rather coldly. But he at least seems to be interested in her company. And then again, Koharu always complains that Gou permanently skips school - so now I'm confused! ^^ I guess we'll have to wait and see on that matter. In any case Koharu continues to be interesting :D In my opinion, BW Team Rocket was really strong because they weren't overused and had some buildup, so every time their plan got into motion, it was a satisfying payoff, like little side-Arcs. I don't think it would have hurt much if they had goofed around a bit more during their preparations - I can't imagine anyone actually believed that they were those high-class spec-ops of the organisation, it's a mircale they haven't been thrown out yet ^^ So I agree that, just like Ash, they need a good balance of comedy and competence. But I also demand even more from a good Team Rocket, like Jessie trying to become famous, or James' love for his Pokemon, which in the end is on the same Level as Ash's. And absolutely, a real battle between Ash and Giovanni is one of the things the series has to have at one point. Though I think it would be more at the end, like Ash becoming a Master, when they don't need Team Rocket anymore. Yeah, I have seen a comment somewhere that the destinations(!) of the next episodes are already known... I don't want to once more judge too soon, but this feels like wasted potential again. I'd rather have each journey to a Region like a mini-arc that takes several episodes, so there's more time to roll out the story (and for certain characters to appear). It seems like they use the regions adequately, like an Ice-Race or something in Sinnoh, but worldbuilding takes time, and at least the upcoming episodes look more like "Here's Hoenn, here's Sinnoh! See, we have every Region! ... For the shortest amount of time possible." Even if we will most likely see each regions several times - which of course, is a good thing. I mean, they have 2 episodes in Galar, but those also seem like 2 different and short stories. I know, these are only the first epsiodes, which could very well be as good as the last ones by themselves, and we don't know what will come after that, but like with Team Rocket, these are still the important first impression that I get, and if I, as a writer, wanted to show early on that I intend to make full use of that concept, I'd start with something that really blows peoples' minds with new possibilities. ... *exhales* ^^

Koharu also doesn’t like Pokémon as much as him, so having a friend that likes Pokémon as much as him probably means a lot to him. I don’t know what is up with Koharu though. She is constantly uptight and annoyed at everything Gou and Ash do. For some reason she seems to not like Ash even though she doesn’t know him.

I think that gym area empty land before and was a special place for bulbasaur and it's evolution line where they all gathered to absorb sunlight but since that area was being under construction now for the gym they climb the building but I still want to know how Venasaur get down from that height.
