I’m a muslim and I have the deepest respect for krist for not being afraid to show her faith and not worry about the judgment of others some people around me just can’t understand that I can practice my faith while being just a normal person like them I started college a month ago I was sitting with some friends and me and my friend heard the adan (announcing prayer time) and me and my friend excused ourselves saying we are going to pray one of our friends had the shockest look at their face and said”I thought you were open minded “ I was honestly really shocked from his response and I simply looked at him and said that “you know me having a faith and believing in something and fulfilling my prayers does not mean I am not open minded and I do not accept people for being different I accept and respect their ideas and beliefs that’s what being open minded is all about acceptance...” and I just walked away I’m not sure why I’m telling this story but I guess that I’m truly inspired by people like you so thank you 💕
I relate to this so much, I’m Christian but I have also had this experience more often than not. I value prayer as a place where I find my solace, some people value yoga or Pilates or smoking marijuana or meditating to their favourite music. Each to their own, Its not anyone’s place to judge whatever someone’s method of finding peace is 😊

As an atheist, I really loved this video. Anyone can incorporate pieces of this into their daily routine for mental health and wellness. I personally would say some daily affirmations, mantras, self love, positive thoughts etc. and read and glean a lot from wonderful books on mental health or Buddhist philosophy/loving kindness. This video is starting to make me realize that I need to spend my time with God. I have been on my phone the whole time and never got the chance to worship God. Kristen, I have been following you for at least 3 years. Im a christian, I was a regular church attendee but my family went thorugh a rough patch and had to leave my home church. I got kind of discouraged, questioned the Lord about a lot of stuff that was happening in my life and didnt find any motivation to search for Him again. I've been watching your recent videos and I thank you for being such a role model and blessing in my life, you make me want to open my bible app and read, just read. Keep it going girl xx
Take time to pray on your own. I'm a Muslim and I focus on Prophets stories and ways of life as well as scientific proofs and signs from God ie Allah the Creator of all things. You will have Angels listening to your prayers and you can pray for everyone to do the same. You will also start seeing signs and have a deeper view on His creations.

Hey Girlie! It’s really awesome to see you wanting to deepen your relationship with our saviour. I normally don’t really comment on videos, but I had a feeling I should share this with you- I’ve been reading my bible for one hour each day for one year now and I’ve grown it a habit. I’m actually currently on a mission trip in Argentina- and I’ve been sick the last few days and mostly hanging around watching movies and not really using my time wisely. I’m also behind on my bible study. And while watching your video right now I’ve realized, or better, God showed me that I could use my time with him in a much deeper and intimate way. The way you start out by studying the passage and then moving on to your personal notes- that’s something that I haven’t seen until now and it really is inspirational. I usually just read my four chapters (I’ve been doing a “The Bible in one year” reading plan) and take some notes on what I thought about it and move on with my day. And I’ve been having trouble praying afterwards, mainly because I feel I don’t have the time, but sometimes I just don’t feel like it. That’s been really dragging me down- and I’ve been thinking if this plan is maybe too long or if I’m just not invested enough- sometimes even doubting my love for Jesus. Those were my thoughts when realizing that I wasn’t really spending intimate time with the Lord but simply reading about him, without connection. And I also thought about if I should continue with this reading plan and do the same thing next year or if I should go back to reading one book of the bible at a time. Your video really spoke to me. It gave me new motivation, and a plan for next year to transform my quiet time by trying your method :) Thank you for putting this on RU-vid, that takes bravery. Hi there Krist! This is very strange being that this is the first video I have ever seen of you, RIGHT AFTER I prayed. I literally got onto my laptop, hopped onto youtube, and saw this video and wanted to click it when I was done praying. I have watched a few routine videos for morning practice by I have yet to find one who believes in God. I'm definitely going to subscribe to you! Thank you very much for this video; I read the Bible three times a day [sometimes twice] but yes you are 100% correct when you say dedicating time for God is a challenge. For a long time I have been praying to Him to bring me closer to Him, it's finally happening. And things like this has been popping up in my life and I totally love it. And thank you for these ideas! I have been wondering what new healthy habits I could incorporate for the new year, and to truly STUDY the Bible is something I want to do. I have read the Bible completely multiple times but I'm realizing that studying it might help a lot. So thank you for showing us this routine and for not being afraid to show your love for God! your routine is inspirational. i find it was easier for me to schedule a quiet time when i lived with my parents. but now that i live by myself i feel like i need sound in the background -- a tv show, music, anything. i'm hoping to be more comfortable with silence.

Currently in my life, I feel so confused about life and everytime I go to church I feel a sense of fulfillment, but I am new at devotion and hope to be closer to God and feel that sense of fulfillment everyday of my life. I pray at the most random times of the day. I like to try and thank God for giving me a new day and ask that my day will be a fresh start and I may have many adventures while I'm making my bed. I don't know why but I do it a lot when I'm taking a shower or using the bathroom. I just have this sudden urge to pray lol
