Here I provide commentary as the fight progress and some diagrams to help describe some of the mechanics. I hope the diagrams and the PoVs of the different roles will help break the mechanics down for you!
DISCLAIMER You can implement a lot of different strats for this fight, I'm not here to claim the strats showcased in the video are the best, most optimal strats. The strats listed here are meant as a starting point for you, so feel free to experiment what is best for your group!

Yup I love it that they used that concept it was really cool. Yeah, getting 1-shot at this stage after going so far is pretty painful but it is really fun. My fav ultimate so far.

Cant believe I am in the final stretch of the fight, love your guide every step along the way, even though we dont use your strategy most of the time, its useful to know what each individual mechanic does in the voerall mechanic to understand why we use certain strategies.

I'm just watching this series because I've always wondered what goes into doing these Ultimate fights. Like, I knew they were hard, but this is _dizzying._ Part of me is scared I can't do it (there's a lot of things that would hinder me) but I'll get there when I get there-I at least need to finish the MSQ first. :P This kind of stuff just fascinates me

I hope by the time you're attempting this, this series will be useful in some way. A part of why I made this series was to show how are ultimates like and hopefully this will encourage more new players to try it.

Actually beating an Ultimate requires a dedicated group, and even so it takes a good group like 2 months or more to actually get their clear. It's all insanely hard, but as long as you have a well structured group and you're willing to put the time in, you'll get it.

@@Cervarius_K For sure its difficult, I think ultimates are a lot easier now though and not hard enough that it takes a good group 2 months, this also depends on the ultimate you choose. My friends group cleared UWU in 9 raid days and we cleared ours in 11-12 raid session (each session was 2.5-3 hours). TEA is a lot harder because you cant max sync it like uwu and ucob but its still obv not as hard as it used to be, we are currently in p3 enrage after 15-17 session (average session is 3 hours including break) You are 100% true that you need a well structured group as having even one member thats terrible/not ready for ultimate will be the downfall and make ultimate impossible hence why my 3 TEA static before this couldnt even clear p2 (with one of them not even clearing p1 consistently) after so many days.

just finished watching this because it showed up in my recommended after looking at a couple SoS ex guides......... this is a *LOT* to unpack and try to remember. holy hell. I only just started trying the ex fights this expac. while this is a hard pass for me cus I am not gonna be able to pull this off reliably, I think it would be fun maybe next expac when I can hide behind my ilv 600 gear and hope and pray I survive, but damn, this is a very well put together and thorough guide. grats dude.

not trying to bring down your mood, but ultimate fights are always synced so you can't cheese it with higher ilvl. However its still a real test of skills and dedication so it is fun trying to prog

Fate Calibration ALpha confuses the shit out of me. How do you know what debuff your clone has if its not targetable? And I have no clue what is going on either way. They told me Perf. Alex is easier than p3 but I'd take wormhole over this shit any day.

by any chance do you have presets of your markers? ive seen some online but they dont seem to match with this video, especially B,C,D,3 and 4

Unfortunately I don’t have that. The diagrams should be quite accurate in helping placing the markers.
