look at fleeting reflection, two target spell and you can turn another creature in a rot priest. Three steps ahead sounds interesting though!!

But it I start with trying -3 hive -1 augury -1 Denny +2 destroy evil + 2 annex sentry + 1 charge of the mites Against soilders with myrel. I’m not familiar with a black withe artifact deck, gonna assume you’re asking about blue/white artifact deck with zoetic glyph. Against id start testing out siding the same way as above. I’d imagine they would be tough matchups though. @danielanning8362

Denny is a great main board card, he can provide a ton of value, he unfortunately gets side out a lot because top decks at moment are control and ramp. But he’s great against mid range value deck like golgari. + 2 annex sentry +2 destroy evil -3 skrelv’s hive -1 experiential augury They have to much built enchantment hate for hive to be effective. Destroy evil handles Shelly, and sentinel. Sentry to take care of glissa and dread knight. Denny is actual great in this match up, as most of their creatures have 3 power or more. From them you can expect to see more targeted removal and hand control. Thanks for watching, hope this helps!

To build on Sleeveless' comments, some cards are just strong for game 1's, but become the de facto weak card for boarding purposes due to the linear nature of the game plan you're enacting. Delney has felt like that for me as well. - Riktus

Some cards are side board all stars, but just don’t generally belong in main deck. These are the top tier matchups but there are other decks out there. Spell pierce is great against most of these deck. But if you run into mono white, a legends deck? You’re essentially playing with 3 dead draws. I completely understand where you’re coming from though
