Im new to the channel and the voice seems kinda robotic. I think there could be a different voice for everyone. Not just the one voice reading like a boring audiobook.
I was hoping they were able to recover it too. Great videos, narration is perfect too. It's amazing to get a glimpse into another world, great guys! Keep up the good work!
Gyroscooter is a way cooler and more accurate name than hoverboard, thank you for not calling it a hoverboard. And it's great to see you guys building things again. And Super Sus's new jacket is awesome and I love how he respects Alex for not drinking, smoking, or swearing.
What’s next, guys? Solar powered drones? Maybe Mad Max style vehicles to take over the zone? LoL! You guys sure come up with some inventive ways of doing things! Good for you!
That train you made is cool! You should make a plastic cab on it so it keeps it warm inside? And use plenty of batteries! And some lights on it and a couple of pieces of metal in front of the wheels to push the snow away from the front wheels
Next time, avoid snow. And go at night. But maybe this way now is closed. Easy upgrade, plow in front of wheels and some kind of brush behind to cover your tracks. Impressing motors really, also one big wheel in the middle is an other possibility. Ore two electric bikes connected. Electric ATV:s through the wood is stealthy. Engineering me awakens. Anyway who would think the new electric vehicle trend was created in purpose to offer stealthier ways for stalkers to access Pripyat.
Maybe use voltage from tracks to power draisin? Your foot prints at crossing may have been seen or unless your draisin sent a signal at the crossing alerting the guards?
25:23 dude might actually have some serious issues. He couldn't get the saw running then get mad at the group bc he's so small and went after them with the saw to scare them... To try and emasculate them down to his size if you will.
Anyone else nothing how loose that chainsaw chain was. Honestly everyone if you have never used one before don't just get one and start using them they are dangerous if you don't know how to use them properly. If you do want to purchase one make sure you talk to someone before you get it who has experience with them. A loose chain can pop off and it's spinning pretty fast it will chew your hand legs or arm up. Sorry for giving a safety tip on a video like this but every opportunity to teach someone can save someone's life.
Pretty awesome effort even though they got caught! They could have rigged up a large cylindrical frame with reflective film to wrap around them and no one would have seen anything but reflections. But that would have been a pain to take off and reattach.
Or, we could go up and down a local railway line pretending to be in “the zone”. We could get some mates to meet us dressed as security guards and pretend to arrest us. Why do I think this? No food. No water. No camping gear. No survival gear. No plan to get back if they break down. Same car at the start and the end. Way too relaxed. No efforts to be stealthy.
Class video ... safety pure out the window lol ...as a saw operator.... slightly cringing at how the saw gets set up with no tension on chain ... u guys are god level nuts :)
31:42 why is the draisine considered as a train ? (since the railroad signal is blinking). I thought the train detection was made by short-circuiting both side of the railroad, but it's not the case here (the wheels of the draisine are non conducting)
I found this documentary to show how so many people of this village and the surrounding towns saved the lives of basically the world. Capping the reactor. You must listen to the people who were there telling about how many people died and how they have been effected including the unborn children..
Need more vids with the lady there :) I was thinking that those level crossings lights might have been your demise, they would have been activated with a treadle switch further back along the line and likely a remote bell went off in the signal box which probably gave them a hint something was afoot.
Thats exactly what i was thinking. Its usually a little arm where a wheel pushes it down and starts the lights and another treadle to deactivate it once passed. Used to know folks who used to press on them on our local railway and cause tailbacks as a result of triggering the level crossings. Lol
