I heard swapping desk chair wheels out for rollerblade wheels is life-changing. Maybe that could save your floors and cute new rug?

I switched to floor protection wheels and they are really nice. Now that you mention rollerblade wheels that is pretty much what they look and feel like. Protects the floor and i can still roll around nicely (biggest downside to a rug imo, it crunched up constantly when i moved whith the chair).

I COMPLETELY relate to feeling like the smallest thing will set you off.....I had a full breakdown the other day because I made a passport appointment and showed up and the lady was gone and gonna be away at lunch for TWO HOURS. It's stressful to be aware of how stressed you are like that and still not be able to chill tf out lmao anyway I see you and I'm here with you!!!

ok heres my comment: i paused for a while in the middle to do real life stuff and the paused image really spoke to me so i had to draw it before i watched the rest. i call the drawing "leigh and her stick" for real, so glad you quit the mossery collab when it wasnt right for you. i know that guilt intimately but sometimes we misjudge the limits of our flesh prisons and have to back out of things! but like when you cant do a thing, you cant do it, nothing is worth destroying yourself over. so well done

Fun video! Thank you Leigh🤗 idea......you can by new caster wheel replacements on Amazon! My chair at salon had so much hair stuck in its wheels ....so much so looked like it had slippers! Then I was told “look up caster wheel replacement!” Go figure! Worked like a charm!

Thank you for being so honest about your stress and the whole thing with mossery. I've went through something similar myself on a much smaller scale. Saying no to opportunities is never easy but at the end of the day if its causing you more stress and difficulty than anything else it just isn't worth it. People think art is so fun and easy and every oppertunity is a blessing for the artist but thats not always the case. Sometimes its better to step back, better to do something right in a way you're confident in than in a way you're not happy with. I'm glad to hear they responded well and I hope you start feeling better soon Leigh! ❤

SO proud of you for acknowledging your stress triggers and quitting Mossery! I too struggle with the guilt that comes with quitting things, so I know how it can feel making a decision like that (I did something similar very recently ahh), but it's SOOOO important to care for your health!! Thank you for the sweet message in the beginning, had to take a step back from everything I’m currently doing cause I was feeling so overwhelmed with everything, that it was just making me physically sick 😪 take time to myself and really let go of the things that were causing all this pressure on me.
