This video was after just one year, want to see how they're looking now after three years? Check my updated timeline video out - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y7CECV6E9xk.html Lots of love x
Your hair before looks like the Lady Galadriel from The Lord of the Rings, but afterwards when it your dreads were decorated you look like an amazon princess! I'm jealous either way haha
Yes, all dreads go through shrinkage, it is when loops bumps and lumps occur, but its the dreads tightening from some loose knots holding the hair together into actual mature dreadlocks, but if you want to keep your dreadlocks long, you can have unmature dread extentions put in at the same time, and they will be long to start out with, but depending how how much shrinkage you experience, they will be aboutshoulder length in a years time (the umbrella length of time it takes dreads to mature) Your hair, being thin and straight may have a lengthier dreading experience, but it will dread with time!
Hey Lauren :) I think you look pretty with either hairstyles, just don't pay attention to haters. You should keep ur hair the way you like them. I think that most people who first got to know you from ur first video are stuck in the "princess hair" mold. You look just fine!!!!
I enjoyed the progress video. Your dreads look great! My partial dreads shrunk a lot too, but never got crazy wiggles like yours, which just goes to show everyone's journey is unique.
Really love your timeline. you have amazing and beautiful hair from before to now. Your dreads are coming along real nice. happy dreading and keep up the good work. Don't be worrying what people think, the only opinion on your hair that counts is your. :D peace and love.
Going to be making a video very soon answering all of the questions in these comments so if you have something to ask then let me know and I will be sure to include it! Lots of love xx
Oh yes it does but at the end remember you do what makes you feel good. Also don't feel bad about yourself, your a very beautiful girl before and after! Can't please the world pretty girl remember that 😀
I have been watching a lot of videos on RU-vid with dreads. I do not have them and I do not want them. I do however, find them interesting. Especially the washing, drying, styling experience that everyone has with dreads. You are beautiful with or without dreads. It is your hair and your body, you can do what ever you want to it; it is not effecting everyone that has a negative comment about you :)
LOVE your Underarm hair its darker! And nice thing about dread locks is its neat way to trick self into getting shorter hair! And cool to be in pain to mess it into dreads
gorgeous before AND after....don't give 2 shits what other people think....I have dreads & have gotten the "oh your hair WAS so pretty before!" whatever....I love my dreads & don't care what other people think! I do wish my hair wo0uld've been as long as yours though (and mine was pretty long, almost to my butt!) I lost a lot of length & its taking a long time to grow now...everything in due time. :)
@@1234-m7w if she had mold, it would grow in the middle of her locs and they would break off. Her hair is shorter due to the locs tightening causing them to shrink. Educate yourself
I love your dreads and I'm jealous every time I see people with them, I can't get them because of the hate people have towards them. I'm glad I haven't seen any hate comments on dread cause every time I watch a vid on dreads there's always hate :'
Bitter Sweet I don't mind different opinions but I delete the spiteful, hateful comments because I want my videos to be a positive space ☺️ Doesn't matter what others think, you do what makes you feel good and you will attract the right people to surround yourself with. Thanks lovely x
your style have changed, as for the current style dreadlocks suite you much more as before long soft hair looked better so you adapted your style to your hair its amazing......i was gonna ask for a hair update...... is it still thickening??....... and just imagine thick long dreadlocks as how was your hair originally that would be glorious on you......but obviously each person his own style....
It's because she has curly hair and straightened it before dreading. Also the hair was too clean. So naturally the dreads will end up as big as the base you make for it on the scalp! So if you want smaller dreads make your sections smaller.
Because for some reason people think it's okay to comment 'ugly' 'ruined your hair' and you 'look horrible now' on my videos. I respect that people may have preferred my hair before but I am under no obligation to accept people being downright rude and mean. It's pointless negativity, purposefully trying to make me feel bad about myself. Hope this answers your question x
Dear EmperorLionflame Since you are writing ridiculously long comments about a person you don't know with the intension to change her or "accept" her "real" self, I am about to tell you that dreads are still hair. Just hair. It may sound stupid to you, but getting dreads does not automatically mean that you start to smoke or doing drugs or whatsoever. Changing your style, like getting piercings, and dreads and all that does not mean you are a different person. What is wrong in trying different styles and experimenting? Tell me what on earth could be wrong with that? Her body, her choices. NO ONE is in the right to judge. Yes, everyone has their opinion, but since it's just hair it is really stupid and not necessary at all to say bad things about it. These comments can be kept to themselves, since they are just insulting and intolerant over other peoples small life changes/decisions. No need to make a huge drama out of it. :)
Paulitschka Lovely comment....thanks for telling the truth but by no means are dreads just hair! Dreads are a spritual journey. A journey of self awareness and consciousness. They are away to give focus to the things in life that truly matter. Hair (for us) is an antenna that reaches to the heavens. Our source of 💪. We can tell you how long we've been growing them as well as when and why we started to grow them. As I said before dreads are more than hair.
heyyy:)) , how do you get all the nice little natural wiggles in your dreadies? I love them, they look so natural and funky :) I have a few , but hoping I get more wiggles in them soon :) looks beautiful on you as well :) ♡ x x x
My hair was long like yours b4 I let it lock.i had shrinkage all the way to my jaw line.losing my length in the beginning was hard to deal with.ten years later there past my ass.
Very normal evolution it's because the dreads were not "locked" at the beginning :) the process came with natural moving, washing them etc. dreads are cool.
Hey, how long was your hair when you started? Was it really past your ass? The reason I ask is because I have hair down to my knees and I REALLY want to do dreads but everyone keeps saying about how much they shrink up. I guess that's probably why everyone gets extensions.. cuz they're too short. I wouldn't expect them to stay the same exact length as the hair before starting, but I'm super curious how long yours was both before and after and how much length you actually lost during the process. Hard to judge in pictures. I just wanted to ask cuz you'd be an excellent example of how my hair would most likely look when I finally get to do this. Thanks. 🤗
If i had this long hair i would treasure it rest of my life ❤️❤️👌its my goals having upto my ass i don't like dred locks its my choice but wanted to see you in it
I brushed my dreads out after just one month and yes it was possible but my hair was really damaged afterwards...I don't even want to know what it would've been like after several months/years
