Well its all great using the Cap but in pitch black you want have enough amplification on your nods to see in the dark, best trick I was taught was, focus it the unit on a point and as you walk to it memorise objects around you, then recall your steps as you get closer preventing you falling over when on rapid move..but that does take massive practice

Where did you get your lexan glass cut from?

you say 3mm thick 20mm diameter lexan disc but that diameter is too small for PVS14?
