Thank you very much guys. This was such a good episode, even a (fitting) Rounders quote made it into the final cut. Poker can be quite brutal. Adrian made several reasonable, close decisions that turned out to be losing him chips almost every time (apart from the double up vs Nick). Mentally, you have to be very strong when the hits keep coming one after the other. This may not be +EV, but I do hope to be playing on the same table with him at some point in the future. Looking forward to a Joao run next week. :-)

This was the last tournament filmed during the 2021 WSOP. There is still more to come this season, and Adrian will be back soon(ish), in the season devoted to the 2022 WSOP! - Benjo

Creo que ese all in con 77 fue la falla y estando cercas de premios y estar un poco arriba del avg no se porque arriesgar de esa manera pero en fin el es el pro- Suerte ala otra!!

Yo tampoco entiendo esas jugadas, pero suelen hacerla. Sabes que si te pagan tienes un 50% de ganar que es jugarse el torneo, si te sale bien perfecto, pero sino estás fuera como ha pasado

Yo tampoco lo entiendo, habiendo de pote 20k se va all in con 200k, pero por lo que comenta es por la cantidad de ciegas que le quedan, aunque a mí me parecen muchas...

Se va all in con 77 por qué su mano pierde valor si solo paga para ver el flop, es mejor ir all in que es un 50-50 a qué solo pague el raise para ver el flop, 77 es una mano que pierde mucho valor abriéndose el flop. Y pre flop es más fuerte. Por eso toma esa decisión. Aunque si es muy arriesgado jugar esa mano all in, yo prefiero cuando juego el pagar o debes en cuando hacer raise.

Not showing cards in live game when you call to SD is such a stupid rule. When will you ever get to see what the opponent is doing? The game is as it is super tough and you play blind to your opponents strategy. SD is the only opportunity to see. Online games thankfully don’t have this drawback

je suis desole de dire cela mais 2 braceles et pas une video de , ok pas de dans tete d un pro avec Romain et son bracele alors celui de Adrian . je suis degoute car je connaissais les resultats et je me preparais au moins a voir un des deux. Apres toujours un plaisir de regarder dans la tete d un pro

77 jam cant be good, i mean he would never ever Jam directly QQ+ there, his real strong hands want to 3-bet squeeze and then call off, so this makes Joaos call with AJs really profitable, cos Mateos Range is so capped, cant imagine close to bubble this could be a +EV jam with 45-50 BB

he gets so many hands with a ton of equity against him to fold. sure he may not have QQ+ but not many players are gonna wanna flip for their tournaments lives close to the bubble. he is against joao though so probably knows joao is not gonna fold those hands, but then if he knows that joao knows this then he knows he also has 50% equity a lot of the time. meta games. I like the shove

these guys are so far ahead and thats why these plays work. the average fish is never shoving or calling 50bb with either of these hands
