@@jamesmoninger1982 It’s not just a kicker in this case. It gives you 4 to the Royal if you miss the deuce. If you hit the deuce then your payout is doubled. If you’re holding a 3 or something as a kicker, that’s not a good play.
Thanks for the content, it's fun to watch. I don't mean to be rude, and I'm not going to nitpick every play that wasn't correct, but on Deuces Wild, you're costing yourself a lot by not holding the 3 card wild royals and 3 card straight flushes with a wild (0 or 1 gap), that's a pretty easy fix that'll improve your game a lot.
I think when playing deuces, if the full house pays 15 and you are dealt two pair, the best play is only holding one of the pairs. Congratulations on the jackpot too!
Holding the 22s returns 4.2248 coins per hand, while holding the open ended straight returns 3.4043 coins per hand, 234 hearts returns 2.2664 coins per hand
A non paying pair is better than four to a straight and four to a straight is better than a three card straight flush (unless it’s three to a Royal) in Bonus poker. And bonus tip….four to a flush is better than a non paying pair! Wizard of Odds has the correct strategy cards for each VP game. It’s complicated to read at first, but if you practice at home it’s easy to get the correct strategy figured out. Good luck always! 💜
I can't remember if it was double double or triple double. I need to rewatch it. Bigkats says they play the same with the exception of not holding the kicker in double double but holding it in triple double.
@@andylayne6894 - Holding the Ace is worth 699.89 coins per hand, discarding it is worth 688.20 coins per hand. But she had twice as many chances to win a big prize.
Miss Kelly at :50 you had an open dealt straight. Hold the 2,3,4,5 and you have 8 cards left to get a straight. An Ace or a 6. Couple that with that multiplier of 7 times and you have a nice pay day if it hits.
I actually asked Jeremy (Bigkats) about that hand the next day. He told me the same... he said after a 3 time multiplier, go for the straight. There are still those few hands that get me stuck. And then add the multipliers and I'm really confused.
Yep that is the correct play but with 8 outs you are at around 17% to hit. So the times you hit vs the times you don't especially with the 7 times payout is the correct play.
I'm learning each time I play. When I come across the tricky hands, I'm taking pictures and sending them to my video poker friends to help me learn from them. This game is full of tough and close calls.
