You look so good, love the cute outfit. Even with you draining, making healthy choices with what you eat or drink can definitely make you feel better. I know you may not fix, heal or cure your gastroparesis, but maybe you can improve it so that you can digest more.

the health star rating is actually the most inaccurate way to pick food. Because of how they designed the system, even if you pick say biscuits with a health star rating of 5 it only means that out of all the biscuits rated, those ones are the "healthiest" despite having tons of sugar and processed foods in them and they arent actually healthy. I have seen meat with a health rating of 2 and then sugary biscuits with a 4 star... meat is definitely not more unhealthy than biscuits xD The health star rating doesnt actually give you an accurate representation of how healthy something is, best thing is to actually read the packets to see whats in them and how much sugar and stuff is in them :)

Good on you getting healthier! 👏🏻 The health star rating is really unreliable. It is not law to have it displayed and is depending on different points and not necessarily healthy. Its such a bad rating system honestly. Eg.Nutri grain is supper good health star rating but it’s actually full of sugar and really carb loaded and really bad. It’s a loose guide so just stick with what you know and calories and nutritional content as most of the time you’ll be more aware of what’s healthier then the star guide.

As a grumbling old lady (63) please young guys don't live off junk/take-away foods, I know it seems a hassle to cook fresh foods but think of the satisfaction...you're being duped into spending a fortune on packaged food and then spending another fortune on supplements ( vitamins/minerals/slimming products/medicinals)...the idea of a health star is completely ridiculous - a good diet consists of a little of everything with a MacDonalds every so often but FRESH fruit (not bottled orange juice which has minimal benefits), REAL potatoes, olive oil; you've spent £80 mainly on packaging and enriching the food companies...I'm giving my opinion in general (it seems to folks English and American) as obviously I don't understand your medical condition, also you and Tom are very young and a few chocolate biscuits don't hurt but a healthy FRESH diet is vital...ask any doctor

I have Silver Splint Rings! I have one for my right pointingfinger and I have a Knuckle-bender...but I don't wear it....I need to let re-adjust him the next time I go to Ortho Technics. That is the company who ^made^ my rings, and I'm lucky I guess because here in The Netherlands our healthcare system is paying for them!!!

I love the robe! The AF is perfect. In the US, there used to be a funny sitcom about an alien from Melmak named ALF. 😂 The mastocytosis society used to have a detailed charts on foodshigh and low in histamines to help decrease mast cell reactions to food. Check it out. With the GP and mast cell you need the least amount of fiber. So, orange juice without pulp is the one your body could possibly absorb. Staying away from all artificial sweeteners is also good. The diet we do best on is one full of all the crap most people consider unhealthy. So, lots of refined flour, white sugar, cookies, cakes, potatoes, bread, real butter, etc.

In the USA your outfit is called a romper. I don't know if you can buy them in Australia but Lays makes a chip called poppables. I think They are yummy and I think you could drain them.

Here in the Netherlands we can get the silver splints paid by health insurance. I have them for every knuckle on my hand so 2 splints per finger and a knucklebender and I didn't had to pay for it my self.

Hunny if you have a problem with non real meatel order stainless steel..and nake sure that they have no openings that can get cought in your hair, all ends need to be closed or it will hurt. Take my word i learned from experience long hair and ring splints that are like open coils will end up very painful for your hair.

You should totally focus on getting more healthy whole foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, etc. It helped me SO much with my illness! Sugar (like in slushees) and processed foods are so damaging and inflammatory to people with gut issues like gastroparesis... also, Vitamin IVs are very helpful.... wishing you all the best!

And the stuff they’re putting in your tube for “nutrition” is crap along with all the medication... it’s only damaging you more, not healing. It may be a process but gastroparesis is totally able to be healed without medication and all the “nutrition”.

Because her stomach is paralysed she has a tube in her stomach so she can empty the contents if she eats. If a food is drainable it just means it can empty out of stomch easily.(a basic description feel free to add if i am wrong)

I have to say it now. PLEASE STOP using the word "however" incorrectly. Also, there is absolutely no reason for you to start recording whilst you are eating. Especially "throat sweets"'. Just wait the extra five minutes to finish before picking up the camera!!!!
