SO I finally managed, I thought maybe I was just too tired, I believed I could do it, I then made a mistake like had to start again like 4 times again.. I kept using orange when I wanted it to be white, like literally starting with orange. Then I realised. So used white. Then somehow AGAIN it went flat I was so confused. Finally, I done it, I had to write it down to try see where I was going wrong. I had stopped using the chain 2, slp stch method because it was messing up the stitch count. When the changing colour bit came I again had to write it down and it did help. For some reason the tail (butt) end isn't closed even after the sc decreases which I had to make sure I was doing right. So I had to weave in a piece to try close it better because you could see the stuffing. Did this happen with anyone else or was it just me making a mistake? The fins went alright. But I couldn't do the eyes lol using a crochet hook. I don't know where my needle is. So mine has no eyes currently. I think I will try again, the tail connects to the tail so it kinda looks like a squid lol. I'd like to try this with chenille yarn as otherwise it is super small and a little awkward lol but I hope my next tries will be better

I have successfully made a different fish from another video the tail was much more complicated but this one for some reason i struggled with

Also I feel like the fin tail ends aren't secured properly within the fish so I worry about it coming undone

had the same issue, even tried downsizing my hook and yarn!

R 3: ch 2, (1,2)*5 times, SL ST For two color one, repeat the pattern with 1,2,1,2,… R 4-5: make white hdc on white and orange hdc on orange. The only confusing part is R 3 if you are a beginner😢

I am not sure. This sounds hard because I can’t sew well🥹
