If they reject you, keep in mind that there's only 7.5 billion people out there so there's definitely someone out there for you and no one can be a better version of you. Finally for your parents, I'd advise reflecting on their work in your life, thank them and tell them how you feel. They'll love you no matter what and eventually they'll come around to supporting you through your decisions. I hope this helps!
