I recently started hot gluing on details or pieces on plushies and was surprised how good it looked! I would definitely glue on the black spots on that hat, would save so much time!

thank you for the suggestion!! i considered using hot glue for the spots but was worried it would be less secure since it was a hat instead of plushie- i was probably overthinking it tho haha. it definitely wouldve saved me a ton of time!

@@Crochetwithcon I feel like it's more secure if anything. I've done it on chenille and blanket yarn and you have to be careful of where you place it because it won't come off at all. I recently made a gum gum fruit from one piece and glued on the swirls with hot glue, I was not gonna sew those on! It looked better than if i would have sewed them on!

@@adriiiana13 ooh the gum gum fruit sounds so cool!! how did you glue it so the pieces are flush against the fruit? i once glued pikachu's blush onto his face but i could see the layer of hot glue between cause it wouldn't fully hide the glue on the edges. unless im just putting way too much glue loll

@@Crochetwithcon i didnt crochet the swirls too thin. Chain as long as you need and slsc back down the chain. Then I would form the swirl on the ball how i wanted it to bee, pin it with a needle and then slowly add glue to the center because when you smoosh it down after gluing the glue spreads. Then add more if you need to. Maybe you did use too much glue. On pika cheeks I would just put a big dot of glue on the center and then place it then it spreads. Add as you need!

I made a loaf cat with the gojo face and the reason I haven't made another one is also because I hate cutting felt lol my mom bought a cricut recently so I'm hoping to get some use out of that soon

omg gojo loaf cat sounds so cute!! and LOL maybe crocheters hating felt is more universal than i thought. mom coming in clutch with the cricut :) super jealous but glad you're able to escape cutting felt hahaha would love to see the final results when you use it! ☺
