depends on how you started them but i'd say 5 months

Do you get lint trapped in the root of the locs in the back down by your neck? I’m getting lint/build up there in my starter locs and want to know how to prevent that going forth.

nope i typically get lint at the tip of my locs cause some of my locs have a loose curl at the end. i normally wrap my hair any time i lay down.

it depends on your hair but personally I don’t like keeping styles in for over 2.5-4weeks
